“Not impressed”

Got a smoking room, even after asking for a nonsmoking room twice when booking the room through Expedia, and again after asking at check-in. Was able to switch rooms finally. The top bed sheet had something black stuck on it?? Our bathroom light stopped working 15 minutes after we got in the room. The toilet did not seem very clean. The pillows seemed very old and very well used. Breakfast was definitely "light".

“Never again”

Located on the bad side of the interstate. Room had a musty smell. Relocated to a second floor room. Air conditioner was very noisey and did not work properly. No mattress pad, just a sheet. Very hard time shutting room door from the outside. This is not a 2 star hotel. Not worth the money spent. They should have paid me to stay there.

“Good for the Money”

Stayed in the new annex. Room was a little small, but clean. No Hair dryer provided. Only two loaners at the front desk. Both gone by the time we checked in. Rooms need shorter curtains as they block the A/C unit from circulating air in the room. Window ledge too short to allow them to be tied back. Room location was quiet and we had a good night's rest.

The room was clean,comfortable,smoke free,quite and all it should be. We will use the Red Roof in Taylorsville again when our travels take us that way.

“Sleepless in Taylorsville”

We have never stayed at a Red Roof Inn before. Didn't expect much more than we received. The room was clean and looked inviting after our drive. The room was secure, the TV worked and the Heater/Fan operated as expected. The bed looked inviting, but that's about as far as the positive comments go.... The mattress was terrible, and neither my wife, nor myself had any type of restful night.

“Adequate”

The hotel is located next to a semi-trailer storage lot -- not the best setting. The room was clean and it served our purpose as a quiet place to sleep. During daylight, gaps between the door and door frame allowed a fair amount of light to show through even when the door was closed.

Desk help started of rude, but got friendly quick. ( I feel he got friendly after he saw I was booked thru Expedia )Room was small but clean. I would stay there again.

“NEVER book here, not worth it”

I have never in my life been to a hotel where I had to make my own bed! They did not supply us with enough towels (it was a 4 person room and they gave us 3 towels the first night and only 2 the second day)! The customer service was horrible! I had to get a new fitted sheet to make my own bed because the housekeepers did not put a fresh one on there (my son had an accident the night before and I left a note asking they change the sheet). They left the soiled one in the floor and just made the bed with the comforter! I will NEVER go there again!
