Great Location

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: The only negative response I'd say is: hallway sounds and conversations were easily heard in our room. Otherwise, everything was great!
Location: The location was perfect for easy walking distance to downtown, and New Market area.
A friend of mine recommended the hotel to us. I was surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was very clean and the decor looked like it was recently updated. The staff we talked to were very polite and friendly. Having the airport shuttle available to us was a huge plus. The shuttle drivers were friendly and personable. They really talked up their town and answered any questions we had... like a concierge on wheels!

Great location in downtown arena district

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: I liked it's convenience to everything. I parked my car and never needed it for 5 days. I loved the friendly staff.
Cons: The one thing that was a bit of an inconvenience was the breakfast not being served until 7:00AM. I needed to be at the training by 7:00 .
Location: The Convention Center was just down the street as was the Hyatt Regency where the training was held. The North Market and great restaurants were close
I was in downtown Columbus for a 4 day training right down the street about 2 blocks. It was walking distance to everything. The staff were all so friendly. They helped me out with restaurants and even gave me discount coupons. JJ and Shay were terrific with directions and even made me copies that I needed for work. I would highly recommend The Red Roof Inn.

Pleasant Hotel Close to Convention Center

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well appointed.
Location: Lots to do nearby, though I was only in town for a day, and couldn't experience it. I will on my next visit, though!
My stay was very pleasant. The staff at the desk were very patient with me. I was tired after a long day, and they had to repeat a few things to me, as my concentration level was not the best. They were very nice, and laughed with me about it. The room itself was comfortable, with plenty of pillows and towels, and it was clean. The large flat screen TV was a nice feature. I didn't use a lot of the other included features (ironing board and iron, hair dryer, frig, microwave, coffee maker), but it was nice to know that they were there. I did use the safe; I was happy to know that the safety of my valuables is a concern of the hotel. Parking was a bit inconvenient, though. The lot was across the street, and there was construction in the way. That was hardly the fault of the hotel, though, and the staff gave very good instructions on how to go around the construction. The continental breakfast was good, with an excellent variety of fruits, juices, coffee and tea, yogurt, breads, and spreads. The breakfast area is nicely decorated, and relaxing. Overall, I would stay here again, and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Last minute hotel.

it ends up being a great hotel, the only down side though was, I had to pay extra 10 bucks for parking. Other than that, I would stay in this hotel again.

A nice stop in Columbus, OH

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Spacious comfortable rooms
Cons: Parking!!
The Red Roof Inn Plus in Columbus was very warm and accommodating. My daughter and I were traveling from Paducah, KY to Pittsburgh, PA and this was a great stopping point for us. We arrived very late at night and the night clerk was most helpful in getting us situated for the night. Parking is across the street and this was a little challenging as there was roadwork being done right in front of the hotel. That was the only slight downside in an otherwise great overnight stay.
