Room size

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: It was in a good area of Dublin, Ohio. Very quiet and the man at the front desk was very friendly.
Cons: Maybe a coffee pot in the room.
Location: Great area in Dublin, Ohio---Close to shops and restaurants.
Our room was very clean and updated, however, we did find the room a little small and the bathroom where the tub and toilet was small.

Good choice.

Provided a reasonably priced option for a one night stay. Appreciated micro refrigerator and microwave. AC was a little noisy and bed could have been more comfortable but overall room was good.

Great Deal!

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Price
Cons: Cleaning
Location: Bob Evans within walking distance
I was in town visiting family for a couple days and wasn't looking to spend a lot on accomodations. The hotel has recently been renovated and I would say that the room is nice considering what you are paying for it. It was clean with the exception of some missed dusting and small details larger chains would have not overlooked. The hotel was in a seemingly good area considering I was a female travelling alone. There is a Bob Evans restuarant within walking distance to the hotel, which is nice since breakfast is not offered. The staff was great and very friendly.

Good value for your money

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: The rooms are very quiet, the bed is quite comfy, and the wifi works.
Cons: Perhaps install lower commodes that also flush more efficiently. I can well imagine short people dangling their feet during a sit-me-down.
Location: It is close to the expressway, and also near some very good quality eateries. The zoo is not too far away and well worth a visit.
This place is conveniently located to the expressway and good eateries. The pluses far outweigh the minuses. The room is surprisingly quiet, and comes with a mini-refrigerator and microwave. The bed is comfy, there is reasonable storage space, and the wifi works. The shower and bathroom contain many grab bars should they be necessary. Clean towels are supplied and amenities are refreshed daily. The heater/AC works well and the fan makes for great "white noise." The only negatives that I could see were the occurrence of unexplained clicks and other metallic-sounding noises, more noticeable in the bathroom than in the room itself. However, only rarely was I even vaguely aware that there were people in the next room. The commode is suitable for a tall person like me, but others may find that their feet dangle above the floor. I don't know if they use low-flow commodes, but, not wishing to brag, it took 7 flushes to clear the bowl adequately. Oh well, I'm not paying the water bill. I would happily consider staying here again the next time that I am in the area.

Good bargain, but musty odor in room

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Convenient to training facility, inexpensive, comfortable.
Everything about the room, though small, was fine. But, there was an obvious odor that was kind of musty. I got used to it rather quickly, and other than that it was a good bargain. I only was in the room for a few hours a day other than sleeping. The bed was very comfortable, so I slept well.

For a Budget Hotel, I was extremely happy!!!!

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Location is convenient, but I was most happy with the conditions, cleanliness and the freshness of newly remodeled rooms! All for a budget price!
Cons: Not much, really. The rooms didn't have coffee makers, but coffee is available 24/7 in the office.
Location: Dublin is full of charm and trendy restaurants. Columbus, the Zoo, Short North, Cosi, the Fair Grounds, OSU, Easton Town Center are all within 20 min.
I booked this room to accommodate an out of town friend, and as a meeting point for several others. I didn't want to spend a lot. I live I the area, so I wasn't concerned about safety, but I wanted comfort and cleanliness. I got that and so much more! These rooms were recently remodeled and I felt like I was in a much higher priced hotel! The first thing I inquired about was any recent bed bug problems. I was told no, and I believed him since I always check the online Bed Bug Registry. He also told me that each brand new mattresses was wrapped for added protection! The room was freshly painted, has high quality wood laminate floors and low nap carpeting around the beds only. They appear to be easily cleaned or removed if necessary! There is a new dresser, desk and bathroom vanity with a trendy top mount sink. The room has a new flat screen TV, fridge and microwave, ironing board, iron and hair dryer. The beds are very comfortable. There is also both a laundry and vending room by the office. Dublin Ohio is an area booming with major events and Corporate needs, so there are tons of hotels to choose from. I chose the most economical and would not hesitate to recommend this Red Roof Inn to friends in the future!
