Nice clean rooms.....

Posted Mar 29, 2015
The rooms were very clean and neat I would recommend anyone to stay there you usually spend $100 or more on a room like this.

It was nice.

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: It was right next to the gas station
Cons: Get an elevator
I barely stayed there but I was not worried about anyone breaking into my room which is a good thing.

Week-end with my niece.

Room was very nice. Good price. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Carpet in room needed to be replaced, a bit soiled. We definitely return.

Not bad if there's no where else.

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Not too far from destination where all other hotels were booked for football game.
Cons: Needs updating.
Location: Convenient to shopping, restaurants, other hotels.
Door lock did not work. Ants in the bathroom area. Friendly staff. Housekeeping took dirty towels, but did not replace or empty trash cans or make the bed. TV worked.

MSU vs Auburn

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The price #1 and hot breakfast #2.
Cons: The hotel needs an upgrade in room quality.
Location: Nice restaurants like Harvey's and others. This is a good location for MSU home games.
The price, amenities, hot breakfast, and price are reasonable for an SEC football weekend. Some hotels (Starkville) require a two night stay at a very high price.

Very uncomfortable beds, unfriendly staff

Posted Sep 3, 2014
The staff was unfriendly. I had booked a room with two double beds, buy they put me in a room with just a king. When I went back to ask for the double room, they said they were booked but didn't apologize at all for the mix up. They even accused me of not telling the truth about booking a double bed when I even had a print up of my Expedia booking that stated double bed.

Decent hotel close to Starkville

Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Desk clerk was MOST helpful and polite.
We stayed overnight while in Starkville for a football game. The first non-smoking room I was offered reeked of smoke. the desk clerk was very kind and offered keys to three other rooms so that we could choose another. The second room also smelled of smoke but the other two were fine. The beds were clean and comfy although one coverlet had a tear in it. The vents were VERY dusty - like years of dust in there. Might be a problem for those with allergies. Although the bathrooms were VERY clean there was a mildew smell. Probably from those dusty vents. Would stay elsewhere and pay more if possible, but if not this is a decent alternative.

Nice economy hotel

Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Location to sight seeing
Cons: Out door doors.
Location: OK
We had good directions and Garmin took us straight there from airport, we were near sight ssing and downtown. Location and service was economical and breakfast was nice.
