“****DON'T EVERY STAY HERE!!! WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!”
We had three different rooms we made reservations for...and all of them were horrible. The first room was average, it had a king sized bed, the microwave, an the mini-fridge. The floor was dirty and the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The second room was worse. We killed a huge spider in the room, there was splattered food on the walls, cigarette burns in the sheets, the door was dented, and there was no mini-fridge or microwave. The rooms were not clean and the location was horrible. I think most of the people who stayed there were on drugs or staying for other reasons that are not appropriate. The third and final room was a disaster. It was not clean, it had a full sized bed instead of a king. there was a dirty washcloth hanging in the bathroom and there was rat poison behind the toilet. There were stains on the walls as well as holes in the walls that had tried to be coved up with white putty. I do not recommend staying here. I would have much rather paid $100.00 per room and stayed somewhere else. When we first arrived, the rooms were still dirty and had to wait over an hour for them to be cleaned (check in time is stated to be at 3:00 and it was after 4 before we were in our rooms). The person who checked us in couldn't even find our names and I had to help him on the computer to show him our names. PLEASE DONT' STAY HERE...VERY NASST, DIRTY, AND HORRIBLE!!! We didn't even sleep on the sheets, we slept on our clothes!
“Water Damage and Disrepair”
Caveat: I booked my room last minute when nothing in downtown Columbus was available. I arrived in Columbus hours ahead of the 3:00 check in time and when I called the hotel to see if I could get in early, I was told I would absolutely not be allowed in before 3:00. I needed to leave for a wedding at exactly 3:00 and was worried about having no time to change. I wondered around Columbus with a suitcase for a few hours and showed up to the hotel early anyway. I waited in the tiny front room for a half hour before anyone even showed up to the desk. The manager was actually quite nice once I got a hold of him, and I was allowed to check in at 2:40. There was water damage in my hotel room, the entire bathroom cabinet was just rotted away. Several of the lights wouldn't turn on, neither would the television. The carpeting was peeling away from the walls in the corners. The door had about a quarter inch gap in the bottom corner where it looked like someone had tried to pry it open with a crowbar. The bed, however, was clean and comfortable. I stayed late at the wedding and flew out early in the morning, so the sleeping was all I really cared about. However, I paid a rather high price for a room I consider to have been gross and unsafe.
