“As expected”
Hotel met my expectations for a Sheraton. Room was a two room suite. King bed took up most of the bedroom, but not a real inconvenience with the additional sitting room. Pool area was smallish, but nice and clean. Neighborhood seemed safe. Would stay again.
“Reliable”
Have been here many times. Service is good, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was acceptable.
“A comfortable and intimate room”
Stayed here for one night but found the room to be very well kept. There was a tray of food left sitting in the hallway for quite a few hours but who is so picky to cut down a place for that? The room was beautiful, comfortable, complete with a nice desk, 2 LCDs, a kicking AC unit. The shower was nice though the bathroom was a bit on the small side compared to other similarly priced hotels I've seen. I didn't like the sliding doors, yes two doors, that you had to close for privacy in the bathroom but since I was there with my fiance it wasn't like we were trying to hide from each other - just something to note if you aren't traveling with someone who you are comfortable with hearing or being exposed to their bathroom habits. The staff were all very professional and friendly - the guy at the breakfast buffet gave me 50% off since I was taking a to go box. I wasn't expecting that but it was still appreciated. I would definitely stay there again without a second thought.
“Not Bad.”
The hotel was what I would expect for a 3 1/2 star rating. It wasn't super nice or extremely clean, but it was OK.
“Somewhat Impressed”
For the price it is a good value. About 20 minutes from the airport. Room was a nice size.
“unfair business practice”
The actual hotel stay was fine. my concern was that after leaving i saw that my credit card was charged $40. i never purchased anything on property. i called the hotel and was told that $40. was charged to my credit card for "incidentals". actually "potential" incidentals. i was ticked. i understand holding my credit card number just in case there was damage or theft to hotel room. certainly they would want to be reimbursed. also understand them holding credit card number on file just in case i wanted to purchase something from the restaurant or bar. BUT to charge me in advance for something that didn't exist is just a way for them to float cash. poor business practice. lastly, i was told i would be reimbursed within 10-14 business days......crazy.
“I had a horrible experience!”
At first I was delighted with the room but then I noticed the refrigerator didn't work , the commode didn't flush well and took forever to refill and the real topper was that the smoke detecter went off anytime anyone took a shower. What a nightmare! How embarrasssing when a hotel staff person came in my room to check on the alarm as I'm getting out of the shower! Other than these MAJOR flaws with the room, the hotel was great and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Also, the bed was great too. It could be coincidence that all these things went wrong and if you get a different room, your stay might be wonderful. Just do not stay in #844!!
