Newly renovated and spacious

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Newly renovated... so new in fact we were the first to stay in the room after it was renovated and had to unwrap the sofa bed mattress and microwave turntable! The 2 bedroom suite was spacious for our family of 5 with sofa bed out and crib next to sofa bed. Kids were not cramped at all. Two full bathrooms really made getting everyone washed up and ready more convenient. The staff was very friendly, helpful and quick to take care of any requests that we had. Definitely recommend and will be staying again next time we are in the area.

Better than expected

I don't like hotels. They are a necessary evil but this extended stay hotel had to have been the best I've ever been in. Clean, quiet and simply a surprising discovery. And hey. ... It had a nice pool.

Absolute Comfort

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Overall convenience.
Cons: help getting things to second floor.
Location: Riverfront park; town of Dublin, Whole Foods
Great bed; great layout and amenities; would definitely look for Sonesta if looking for more than an overnight stay.

Average Hotel. Good location

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location was good & quiet.
Cons: Rooms could do with an upgrade.
Location: Travelling through via Route 66, so didn't see much.
We arrived very late the night of our stay & eventually got the desk Clerk to acknowledge us & let us in to check in. Only stayed 1 night as we were travelling through. Room was pretty old but clean & comfortable. Breakfast was OK. Area is very quiet.

Spacious and convenient

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: plenty of room to move around and well appointed with a kitchen for a longer visit
Cons: nondescript decor
Location: close to Max and Erma's and Graeters and not far from shops and restaurants such as Jeni's Ice Cream and La Chatelaine on Bridge St.
My room was a good value for one night. Although I didn't use the microwave, oven, fridge, or dishwasher, I can see how the room would be perfect for anyone who wanted a longer stay. The decor could use some work as it reminded me more of an efficiency apartment than a hotel, with plain white walls and a small, round plastic table instead of a coffee table between the t.v. and the couch. Warmer colors and more decorative touches would make the room more inviting.

Nice family stay in Columbus.

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The two Queen bed room arrangements are perfect for two couples traveling together. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Location: Very close to the Columbus Zoo and only a short drive from Ohio State University and downtown Columbus.
Stayed one night as we were travelling from Cleveland to Cincinnati. We had five people, two couples and a child. One room with two Queens and a pull out sofa bed was the perfect answer for us. The staff was very courteous and answered any questions we had. The rooms were nice and clean upon our arrival. The breakfast buffet went well beyond our expectations and left us more than full as we continued our travels. We only wished that we'd planned more time to stay and enjoy the pool and explore Columbus.

Run down condition!

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Juanita the lady who makes the breakfast and dinners. She was very nice.
Cons: Deep clean those rooms, bug spray. update the applainces and fix the bathroom.
Location: I was there for a business trip.
I was not aware of the hotel being in a run down condition. The refrigerator wasn't working properly. The icemaker didn't make ice. I told them at the desk. Someone was supposed to come and fix it the next day. This was a working trip so I couldn't be there. Anyway no one came. The refrigerator was leaking water inside the cabinet of the refrigerator. I had to call the desk for help because of a very large bug in my room. I had no way of climbing up to get at it. They person came a few minutes later to get rid of it. He told me it was a stink bug. Which I was told by him they have a lot of them in that state. Nothing that they can do. The room had a smell of must in it. As I was leaving the maid asked if she could come in to leave towels and make the beds. Now I assumed that if you are in the bathroom as a maid you would at least make sure that there is toilet paper. And yes I had looked under the sink, nothing there. The bathroom floor tile is broken and was glued broken into place. I told the desk about it and they said that they know. They are remodeling. I had asked for a pitcher of ice and that same woman tells me you have a icemaker, you have to turn it on. I then told her that the icemaker hasn't been working since the first day that I checked in. She at first said she didn't have any record of it. Then she came back to say that they where suppose to swap out the refrigerator. She told me that she would contact expedia to put in credit for half of my stay.

Nice hotel with a lot of space for the price

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Spent several days with grandson attending a weekend soccer tournament and the hotel worked out well for three people since it had an extra area with a pull out bed that served well. Easy access to soccer complex and was at a better price.
