SpringHill Suites Columbus OSU

Excellent stay! Close to everything columbus. Free Hot breakfast was great and saved time and money! Will stay again when in columbus!

Pros: 1. Close to Crew Stadium. 2. Restaurants and a gas station are well within walking distance. 3. Nice, clean room. Cons: 1. Toilet and shower in different rooms (a positive for most). 2. No locks on bathroom doors (toilet nor shower door). 3. Toilet and showers are directly in front of beds. 4. No fans in bathrooms.

Stylish lobby and rooms. Plenty of space within the suite. Separate toilet and tub rooms was nice convenience, but a sink in the kitchen area would have been nice too. There were several sports teams staying at the hotel and they even had balloons and welcome signs displayed in the lobby for them. Nice workout facility, but the pool was TINY - but amazingly, it did have a lift for entry into the pool. Great selection of food at the complimentary breakfast bar. Soft beds and pillows!

I visited with my son as part of a college tour that included OSU. The staff could not have been more forthcoming with advice and insider tips about the college. After chatting a bit with the manager, he graciously asked if he could take us on a personal tour the following day, which we wholehearted accepted. His advice, insights, and humor greatly enhanced our understanding of the university as well as our overall stay in his hotel. I must say, as a native California and seasoned traveler, I have never encountered such open friendliness and generosity, which took the legendary Mid Western hospitality to a whole new level. The room itself was spacious, clean and well-equipped. It is easy walking distance to the college as well as to The Cap City (simply great comfort food - Zagats 26) and the Columbus Fish Market - Zagats 27). Next time I am forgoing the rental car, cabbing from the airport, and visiting on foot..

Was skeptical until we got inside...very nice and VERY clean.

Rooms have plenty of space. For once didn't feel crowded with all 5 of us in a room.

The hotel was very clean and convenient. The staff was polite.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Maid service could be a tad better.

wENT TO TAKE A SHOWER AND THE WATER WAS LUKE WARM AT BEST. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT AT ALL.
