Don't step on the mousePosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: fill the holes in the floor under the heater.
Location: Nashville is nice to visit for shopping and the artist community is growing. We've been visiting for years and the amount of original art increased.
The room seemed clean, but the mouse was sure looking for something to eat. He kept running from the heating unit along the baseboards. Unfortunately, there wasn't any staff on site, so we stayed awake most of the night and left promptly in the morning. If we hadn't prepaid, we would have left.

Look elsewhere if you canPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: the bathroom was clean and nice for a old motel. The bed was also updated and very comfortable.
Cons: A office to check in on the premises
Location: Nashville Indiana, shops and state park for riding and fishing
No office to check in, you have to go across town to another motel and check in to get room key, They dont tell you they only clean, make beds or give clean wash clothes and towels every two days. And most of all we were told they only had 1 room left available, when in reality the third party only had 4 rooms allotted to them to sale. They had plenty of rooms empty

Didnt have enough towels and wash clothes when calling them i was told i could drive to there other property and pick some up (say what) so had to use what few towels we had Location was great but considering it was a older building and no service price should have been less

Convenient driving distance to downtown NashvillePosted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was very nice and clean. It would have been even better if the squeaky bathroom door was fixed so that it would not stick, and if there had been a box of tissues somewhere in the room, and if there had been a chair to sit in to watch T.V.

Nashville - 25 min from B;loomington IN/IU campusPosted May 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice 2 star property. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bedding is on the side of higher quality. Towels are thick and high quality, however there are only larger bath size towels and very small cloths - no hand towels. Also very little bar soap is provided. All in all I recommend The Orchard Hill Inn as a high quality 2 star hotel / motel. a very good alternative to IU campus hotels that can become quite pricey at certain times of the year. Near by, the town of Nashville is a nice little town packed with retail shops and restaurants to walk about and visit as well.

Interesting check in & outPosted Sep 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
It is a Roadside Motel, when we arrived there was envelopes on most of the doors with last names on them. We found the envelope with our name, opened it, it had a card with the door lock code. We entered, first we seen a big stain on the carpet, all the way from the bathroom to the front door. We thought, OH NO. But we took a look around the rest of the room was very clean and well kept. The carpet probably had been cleaned maybe the stain wouldn't go away. We stayed the weekend and enjoyed our stay. Check out was just as easy, sign a paper, leave the code card, and leave. Wonderful! Thank You!

Just a Little Outside of Town - Serene SettingPosted Aug 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
Absolutely loved The Orchard Hill Inn! The price was right and it was convenient to "dowtown" Nashville. We were greeted by the manager and she was very friendly and helpful. She made sure we had enough towels, the windows were open for us and she wanted to make sure we were happy with our room. Don't be fooled by the exterior. First thought we had was "Bates Hotel," but the inn is adorable. It had been completely renovated and we were extremely happy. The furnishings were beautiful - quaint like for a quaint country setting. Everything you need for a quiet, peaceful night. There's also a lake behind the inn. Guys can fish or you can enjoy the view. We saw deer in the morning and the evening. This was a girlfriend weekend (shopping), but this would be a great little romantic spot as well! Don't expect a bunch of frills. You can expect a very clean room and leisurely check out. We've been to Nashville a few times and would definitely stay here again!

close to park entrance and nearby shoppingPosted Aug 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel room seemed very clean and beds were pretty comfortable, I would consider staying here with my family on another trip to the area.

Clean, comfortable, scenic locationPosted Jul 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
Room VERY clean, comfortable, quiet. No office on site. We arrived late, but not a problem because key code and payment info were accessible upon arrival. Convenient to Nashville and surrounding Brown Co. Close to Bloomington also. Relatively inexpensive.
