Never again!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Was not happy with our stay at all. When booking we thought we were staying in a hotel, not a motel, and did not expect the drive thru check in! Our room was not in the main building but what looked like a add on building around the side behind a Bob evens and wendys. The room was not clean. When the air turned on it smelled like axe body spray. There were water bugs crawling in the bathroom, crickets hopping and an earwig bug crawling on my bed! The pillows were horrible, the sheets were stained and had burn holes, and we had to wear flip flops in the shower.

Convenient location to OSU Medical Campus

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: I was assigned a room facing the back/shrubs, rather than near the parking lot where two large dumpsters were parked across several rooms.
Cons: Better communication tools for the attendant, such as a cell phone and a note if she must be away from the desk. Whiter/cleaner towels with racks.
Location: Very close to OSU Medical Campus, good restaurants, freeway, and shopping.
I am a travel nurse and was very excited to find lodging so close to the campus. Very disappointed upon arrival to find no attendant at the check in desk/drive through; I and another patron waited 30 minutes, the phone kept ringing and others were waiting at the drive through. Much later I received a call from the attendant who found my note to cancel my reservation if unable to check in. She was very polite, but should have a cell phone or at least leave a note if not at the desk. I agreed to stay and found the room very small/crowded. the door struck the desk upon opening. the linens were 'clean' but gray not white, there are no towel racks or places to hang a towel to dry. the room smelled like a smoker had been there, though it was to have been a 'non-smoking' room. Convenience of location is this site's best amenity.

Nice hotel close to campus

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: The staff was welcoming, nice and very hospitable
Location: I chose this hotel because it was close to campus and the cancer hospital where I work.
The staff was wonderful. After working a 12 hour night shift, I was exhausted when I got to the hotel in the morning. The staff was wonderful and let me check in early. The room was clean and quiet. I also thought the rate was reasonable.

Did not get room we booked

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Cons: More frequent updates between hotel and Expedia about what's actually available. Perhaps it's outlined in the small print but, we were weary & sad.
We booked a room with 2 double beds on Expedia. However, upon arrival, hotel staff informed us that all she had left was a room with a King sized bed and NO cots. It was almost 11 p.m. and the 3 of us were grieving the sudden loss of my brother. So, we stayed there but, one of us had to sleep on the floor and we couldn't even get an extra pillow (said they were out). Not sure whether the fault lies with the hotel or Expedia, but, it was a rough stay for the 3 of us all around.

Nice view of the train

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Close to my location.
Cons: Can't really do anything about the train, but they can fix the tub and get better quality towels.
Location: Was there for business so not really sure.
Yes, train. Right outside the front door of the motel. Came by quite a few times, day and night, so train lovers, you'll be in heaven. People who like to sleep, not so much. The water would not drain in the tub. The towels were small, thin, and stained. The employees were pleasant. That's about all I can say in the plus category.

Stay Away

Posted Jun 27, 2015
To start off, the door looked like it has been kicked in and never fixed. Non smoking room had a terrible smoke smell. Dirty room, followed up with a dirty bathroom. Bed sheets were stained, had makeup and hair on them and we're just dirty. I would never book here again.

Wrong side of the tracks

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Located not far from Ohio State University, and had nearby restaurants in walking distance.
Cons: Better furnishings, and a continental breakfast.
Location: There was a Wendy's, Bob Evans and Tim Hortons nearby and a Target down the road.
Our room had railroad tracks behind us so we got woken up by the sound of trains 6 times and I had bags under my eyes and had to travel onto look at colleges without adequate rest. The rooms were being remodeled with new carpet, a fresh coat of paint, and newer beds. However you cannot sleep two people comfortably in a double bed. The standard for most places are queen beds. The room had a microwave, a refrigerator which were nice, it also had a desk but no chair to sit in. It would have been better to have had a small table and some chairs, or a love seat. The price was reasonable, but the next night I spent at a different motel off the interstate in a king. The room was spacious, had furniture, and was $20 less a night.

Bugs all over room and in bed!!!

Posted Jun 22, 2015
This motel cost me $165 for one night and there were several different types of bugs all over the room, I even woke up with one on my pillow. There was no cold water from the sink or tub faucets so I had to drink warm water in the middle of the night. Gross gross place. Stains on the tub, walls, ceiling.
