“Disappointed”
The room smelled of urin, and stale smoke,it was a non-smoaking room.I was greeted by a fly,and had to kill 2 other bugs. The a/c worked well, and it was quiet.
“Would not go back”
The check-in process was a nightmare. She handed me a clipboard with two pieces of paper folded and asked me to sign them. Luckily, I opened them up and realized one room was in the correct name, the other was not. This was the start of an almost 20 minute check-in process. She proceeded to hand me at least 4 more copies to sign that were also the wrong name. At one point, she got my first name right, but not the last name. Finally, it was correct. I asked her which direction to go to reach rooms 131 and 132 and she told me to drive to the right. What she didn't tell me is that there was another building across the parking lot and our rooms were over there. She might have been new, she knew nothing. Once in my room, I called the desk to let them know that only one of the beds had a blanket and bedspread, the other did not. Also, when I pulled back the covers, there was a scratch-off lottery ticket (used) under the pillow!!! How did that get there??? The worst part of the night was the fact that our rooms were next to train tracks that were busy all night long. The mattresses were very comfortable but none of us were able to sleep. This was graduation weekend for Ohio State and we were all very disappointed.
“HORRIBLE HOTEL”
for starters, the Internet images are misleading because it has an OUTDOOR pool only and we cam prepared to spend the day swimming inside while on Christmas vacations. The worst is that I had to change rooms 3 times! the first room had no phone and was missing the first four cable channels, including the free HBO. The second room had no remote control and the refrigerator and microwave were broken. The third room had non-stop running water noises that kept us up. The final straw was the cleaining people who knocked AND OPENED the door while were were sleeping at 8:00 a.m. even while we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door.
