Con Son Island, which hosts the Six Senses, is around 230-kilometres, or 145-miles, from Ho Chi Minh City and is served by Co Ong Airport. It's a 45-minute flight by Vietnam Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City
Spa and fitness
Six Senses Spa sets amidst the dramatic backdrop of the Lo Voi mountain and surrounded by tropical gardens, it offers 4 indoor treatment rooms, Thai therapy room, 3 outdoor salas.
Our 50 villas sit up along a mile of sandy beach, sheltered by the green forested hills behind and with stunning vistas of the deep blue sea and the curve of the bay.
Con Dao island, also known as Con Son, is part of a 16 island archipelago, lying one hundred odd miles off the south east coast of mainland Vietnam. True to its philosophy of selecting remote but accessible areas of outstanding natural beauty, Six Senses Con Dao is a five-star, luxury resort in an untouched and breathtakingly beautiful part of Vietnam. The 50 spacious villas, single and duplex style, each have their own private infinity pool and unobstructed views of the South China Sea. The main restaurant, close to the beach, between the ocean and the river, offers world class food and wine, the chefs using fresh, locally grown and sourced ingredients. The centre of the resort resembles a Vietnamese market with a traditional Vietnamese open kitchen and a Deli, offering guests the chance to browse and try local delicacies.

The main guest area of Six Senses Con Dao recreates a fishing village and local market. There is a deli, ‘Deli’cious, offering cold meats and cheeses, pickles and chutnies, breads and salads, a bakery with the best of the world’s patisserie - with more than a touch of influence left over from French colonial days - and fresh noodles, soups, rice, wraps and rolls, cooked over charcoal fired woks and wood fired ovens in the Vietnamese Kitchen by Ms Len and her team of Vietnamese ladies.
The main restaurant, ‘By the Beach’ is perched on top of the sand dunes between the sea and the river and offers beautiful views of the water and surrounding bay. The restaurant serves Asian Fusion and Western dishesall simply cooked and presented, using the finest of fresh ingredients.
The wine cellar and Chef’s Table next to the beach also offer special places to dine and of course dinner can be served in guests’ villas; from simple yet delicious dishes to romantic five course dinners, to beach barbeques.
The softly curved swimming pool, beside the beach and underneath wild and mature mahogany trees is a good place to be served snacks and salads.
The Market area
The market area offers a small village complete with a main street and square resembling a typical village found in the Vietnamese country side. The traditional houses compromise of the Six Senses Gallery, an activity centre - LIFE, a meeting room and a library. Terraces between the library and main bar allow guests to enjoy the beach views whilst
experiencing the unique food and drinks on offer. Movies at the Market are screened here too.
Six Senses Con Dao delivers adventure, culture, sport, and excursions – a whole list of experiences to keep you entertained here in paradise. If you can tear yourself away from our magnificent softly curving pool by the beach with mature mahogany tress to provide shade, you might want to take a boat trip to a nearby island or sail a hobie-cat through the enchanting waters of the East Vietnam Sea.
