“Low cost, convenient - but Embassy Suites is worth the extra $”

I've stayed at this hotel two times now. I decided to give it a 2nd chance, even though I wasn't very satisfied with my last stay. This time, the refrigerator in the room kept up a loud humming sound - and a constant drip-drip-drip noise. Had to unplug it to finally get some sleep. There wasn't an iron in the room when I arrived - so had to call the front desk and ask for one. No shampoo in the bathroom. No pay-to-order movies Older TV There were some sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot in front of the Best Buy There are other nicer hotels in the area - pay a little more - and treat yourself.

“"Not Impressed"”

Smelled marijuana all day and all night in every hallway and elevator. Noone did anything about it. I will not stay again.....

“Works well for us.”

TV was a bit dated. Although there were pots/pans in the room, there was no eating or cookiing utensils. Apparently, these were kept at the front desk along with hair dryers. Personnel was no available to purchase laundry soaps, or obtain change during late evening or early morning hours. I waited for 2-1/2 hours for someone to come in in the morning so that I could get change and laundry soap to wash clothes.

Sausolito, Walnut Creek, and San Jose' were great for shopping!

Dining

"Squirrels" in Lafayatte was fabulous, friendly, provided great service, reasonable prices, with easy access for breakfast and lunch! Black Bear was also nice but a bit pricey.

Family-friendly activities

Coloma was great for gold panning, Winchester House in San Jose' was very interesting, and Alcatraz is my all time favorite.

Outdoors or beach

Sausolito is beautiful with great shopping!

“Right place, right time!”

Front desk people were very friendly and accomadating especially after as long a day as i had, had! Room was quiet and homey, which is just what i needed at the time. would and will definately visit this hotel and surley recomend this hotel to anyone i know!

“Will never go back to this hotel.Employee did not know where a newspaper was able to be bought”

I was very disappointed with this hotel. I could not get info from the employees about anything. I was in Concord to visit my moms grave sight. Something I do a few times a year. I have used Motel 6 and have had a better experience. There is a Chevron gas station at the corner where the hotel is located. I found my newspaper there. I informed the employee when I returned. I hope this will help this place. I would not recommend this extended stay hotel to anyone.

Area recommendations

Stay in the Concord area. Much nicer facilities and customer service offered to the client.

When looking for the hotel look behind the best buy store. I passed by the hotel twice before I saw the small sign located on Buskirk
