“close to freeway friendly and not nosey”

i made a reservation for a signature room and ended up with a standard. but other than that i was very pleased with my overall stay.

The Extended Stay America Richmond - Hilltop Mall is affordable, clean, and handy, near my business stays. The night staff is courteous enough. Never a problem w/ ck in or out.

“fire alarm@ 4:20am”

the only thing that I didn't like was when the fire alarm went off Sunday morning at 4:20. Since I was up, I went ahead picked up my stuff and left early.

“Comfortable stay”

Overall it was a nice stay. It was quiet and comfortable. The only thing is that it would have been nice to have shampoo in the bathroom instead of having to run down to ask for some at the front desk. Suggestion: Ask guests if they will need any shampoo upon check in time. Having to send someone down to the desk to ask for shampoo was VERY inconvenient.

When checking in, the room we were initially booked in was on the first floor. We were quickly accomodated when we requested an upper floor. The room was clean and inviting, however, we had an issue with the door that required immediate maintenance. Because maintenance wasn't available on the weekend, we were instantly given a different room right next door. Staff was great!

The hotel was very nice. It was kind of noisey throughout the the night, but they stay was pleasant.

I guess the hotel is in the middle of remodeling, there were tears on the wall and lights. Overall, I needed to rest so the bed was comfortable and it was quiet for a Friday night.

Good service, good room, decent price. Pet friendly, kitty approved. Would stay again.
