“Pricey, but not for this area”
A little pricey, but comparable for the area it is located in. The heat was turned off in the room when we walked in and it was extremely cold in there. The heat did work though, and once turned on, warmed the room relatively quickly. The fireplace log proved impossible to light with the matches provided in the room.
“nice place”
Roomy, friendly, comfortable
“Another Great Time”
Once again staying here was very comfortable and affordable. Rooms were clean and service was outstanding.
“Hotel Of Choice”
Every year we make a trip down, from Oregon, to the Bay Area to take in Ducks @ Stanford or California as well as the Raiders home game. This from now on will be my Hotel of choice next year and the many to come. Bed's were a bit stiff for my taste but that's a personal thing. Great rooms, great price, great location. Clean and spacious rooms a big plus. Can't beat it.
“Comfort, convenience nad quiet”
This Residence Inn is located at the edge of the tree lined streets of a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a Chevy restaurant 100 yards away, and two shopping centers within an easy five minute drive. A two minute walk takes you to a beautifully landscaped lake [with ducks] fronting the John F. Kennedy University. Great pool and basketball court, gas barbecues and a wonderful complimentary breakfast. Marine World is only twenty minutes away. This Residence Inn is perfect for busines travelers, but also a great place to take the family for a short vacation.
“Loved IT!”
Great hotel for a family!!! Very patient with needs of a large family (extra towels, extra blankets). We were made to feel as though our needs were the most important.
“Room with a Freeway”
The hotel is a nice establishment and my partners were extremely happy with the free food served. The room we had was adjacent to the freeway, making for a fair amount of noise in the bedrooms. The last night a party was held in the room above ours - not an enjoyable night. My tip for staying at this location - stay in bldg 11 across from the lobby.
“Unresponsive front desk clerk”
I had reserved a room weeks in advance. On arrival, I requested a quiet room location, saying I was a light sleeper. Instead, the clerk gave me a room right on the freeway. I returned to request another room. The second one was also very close to the freeway, but the windows were in another direction. It was a hot day. Since I was a woman alone without a car and pulling luggage, I was not pleased to run around the complex. However, I found the insulation to be sufficient in the second room, and stayed. The checkout clerk, by contrast, was very helpful in arranging the hotel shuttle back to the BART.
“Not Bad But Pricey”
I would rate this hotel as pleasing. For the price, I thought it was expensive compared other hotels (i.e. Hyatt Place) I have stayed at in Pleasant Hill. The least desirable aspect of this hotel is the location. The hotel is not close to many local eateries. The hotel rooms are spread out. Where we stayed (building 6) we were not super close to the pool nor the laundry room.
“Average - comfortable”
Adequate - for business traveler
