The room smelled of penetrated cigarette smoke and of something I cannot describe. While the housekeeping ladies were friendly, the rooms are simply not clean. The area is questionable with regard to general safety. A man saw me walking from my rental car to the room and came knocking at the door asking for money. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in which does not have the added interior safety latch/chain on the inside of the door. On my last morning I realized the mattress had old stains. What can I say - you may wish to consider another place.

Was the worst hotel I stayed at. 2 days in a row no room service when we asked daily for it. Staff was not cooperative and did not like the lady cleaning rooms walking around with her daughter. When asking for new towels they had no clean ones. Would not recommed staying here!

The stay wasn't too bad except for the kids upstairs using the bed as a diving board. Shower leaked into the floor in the room making the carpet wet.

Went to check in on time the room wasn't cleaned yet, the cleaning lady even left a couple of dirty wash clothes behind, random people walking thru parking lot all night and one car in parking lot playing music very loud till 3am

I called to find out if I could check in early and was actually told that I would have to check in later than the normal check in time. When I arrived to check in the receptionist only spoke broken English. She tried, at least I think she did, to have me pay for the room again. When I finally got her to understand that the room was already paid for she still took my credit card information done. I understand this is normal so if I have incidentals they can charge it; however, she wrote it down on a piece of paper. She didn't even put into the computer. I tried to open door, but no matter how many times I tried it wouldn't work even thought the card scanner was flashing green. The receptionist came and tried several times before she was finally able to get it open. Apparently I had to pull the door more closed then it already was and the turn the handle and shove it open violently at the same time. When I finally got into my room it was fairly clean. I went to take a shower and after 15 minutes the water still was not warm. I eventually tried turning the knob from hot to cold and it started getting warm. When I checked out I asked if I could wait for them to check the room so I could get the piece of paper that she wrote my card number on, but she refused. She couldn't understand why I didn't want my card information, to include the bank name, just floating around.

Didn't stay, room was booked then cancelled FOR me by manager. Voicemail was left and when I attempted to call simply for an explanation, I was hung up on 4 times in a row.

It was AWFUL!!!!! service sucked they wldnt let u get extra blankets the room smelled bad and it was nasty.

Cons: Everything from parking lot to motel staff to housekeeping.
Location: Near Charlotte. Two blocks for I85
When we arrived we had a Non-Smoking room (printed on door and a card in room). The smell of smoke would knock you over. The parking lot had pot holes. The remote to the TV would not work. Mentioned them (TV remote and smoke smell )to the lady that took us to the room. No response at all. One of the lights had a blown bulb. We were there 3 days (our reservation was for 4). They NEVER made the bed, NEVER brought us new towels( had to go and ask for fresh towels) or soap. At times they seemed to not be able to understand English but they knew that we had paid through Expedia so we were not given a refund for the day we did not stay. I would not recommend this place or stay there ever again.
