“Very good for the price”

Everything was really good except the poor quality of the breakfast.

“Great price”

This hotel was priced right for this economy. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was helpful. The rooms where spacious and had a comfortable seat. The only issues where as follows 1) the breakfast area was under construction and the temp. set up was in the 2nd floor hallway which was only a few doors from my room which become loud at times before I had to be awake. The bedding was nice except for a burn hole in the blanket which was a little unpleasant.

“Good cheap option”

The standard of the hotel was better than we had expected for the price. It was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the room reasonably spacious. Public transport (bus and BART) were handy. The staff were courteous and helpful. The only complaint was the shower - the nozzle was twisted and distorted making any subtle adjustments to water temperature impossible. Hence, we had the option of very cold or very hot. We weren't staying long enough to request a room change and it would be hoped that the shower problem was an abberration.

“Very clean and functional room”

Our room was very clean and functional for a good price for the East Bay area. The only drawback was our bedroom window opened onto a commercial dumpyard but then we were in a densely populated commercial area.

“Regular stay”

I came expecting a decent room at an affordable price close to Berkeley. I was not disappointed. There were more cable channels than what I would expect though.

“Decent lodgings for a fair price”

Our room was clean and surprisingly spacious, with a couch/coffee table and plenty of open space. The only access to any of the rooms is through the lobby, which seemed unusual, but appropriate to the neighborhood. Continental breakfast was 2 kinds of cereal & milk, 2 kinds of juice, pre-packaged pastries and coffee - not spectacular, but adequate. Overall, this hotel exactly fulfilled my expectations of a clean, decent place to stay for a fairly reasonable price.

This may be the best lodging facility in the area for the price. Clean, convinient, and cheap (compared to other hotels/motels in the area). The complimentary breakfast is reasonable, and I enjoyed it.

It is good price and very clean and comfortable room. I especially recommend the big two-queen size room. The breakfast is good but not so many kinds of different foods.
