Cons: Room cleanliness, definitely breakfast, parking lot ruts, extreme updating.........
Location: Was tricky to get to as it is a turnout off of the freeway entrance. Typical farming community.
Check in went fine. Went in the room and it smelled bad. Ended up getting a can of Lysol spray to even feel comfortable breathing in there. Breakfast was two plastic bins, one with a half loaf of white bread, the other mini muffins, orange juice was a gallon jug from Wal-Mart, coffee was extra black and no hot water to dilute it. Got back to our room after 10 PM the first night and the lock had been changed out, due to remodeling I think. A guy told us we would have to go to the office and get a new key, which we did. Light fixture in the bathroom had one bulb and everything was very outdated except a new coat of paint.

It's not bad for a motel in the middle of nowhere

Posted May 4, 2015
This is an ok motel to sleep for a couple of nights. It's cleanish, beds and pillows are not so uncomfortable, the service is ok, the AC worked, the breakfast was coffee and toast. We didn't have any issue and we had low expectations so we left feeling that our stay was better than we expected.

We would stay there again

I stay away from motels with outside doors and bedspreads. We just needed a place to sleep on our way home from AZ. This motel might be older and mid century modern tiles in the bathroom but it is in perfect shape and I have never seen tiles shine like that. The room was small but the carpets updated and everything was clean. My husband likes the breakfasts in motels. I don't. This one was so minimal there wasn't a fight to talk him into a big breakfasts at the restaurant next door. We had a great dinner there the night before and the friendliness of the locals warmed my heart. One of the locals told us to tour the town and check out the town square so we did that after our dinner. I'd love to go back and spend some more time there.

No where else to stay

When trying to get extra blankets from the front desk, the employees acted as if it was putting them out. I didn't even bother with extra towels. The room was fine, however it was two rooms that were connected into like an improvised suite. Bed was not comfortable and the TV was still a tube TV and not a flat screen.

The room was very clean and the front desk person was very nice. There is a little café next door which was good for dinner and breakfast the next morning.

The room showed a lot of wear. The carpet was tattered in many spots. The toilet was not secured very well to the floor. The shower drain did not flow well.
