We had a great stay. This is a small town hotel with kind, small town service. The parking lot asphalt is showing it's age. But the room was clean and quiet. Nice continental breakfast. Coffee maker in the room. Thanks for a nice stay.

Belleville stay
Motel was reasonably clean but old & worn with an effort to update. Bed & pillows were good. Entry door was missing manual latch to lock but knob lock worked well. Quiet, well lit area. Parking lot very rough with many pot holes. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Driving across the country I booked a room here for a few hours rest. Was not looking for anything extravagant, just a warm clean bed to sleep in. Checked for bugs like I always do, found a bug between the blanket & sheet. What looked to be dry blood on the top lock of the door. Expressed this to staff on duty and decided to relocate. Staff disregarded my concerns and made false statements to Expedia employee, refused a refund and denied issues altogether. All around disappointing attempt at a decent rest after 14 hours of driving.

Comfy King Bed.
Dingy stained towels. Coffee pit in room Did Not work. Switch on coffee pot did not work. Refrigerator in room Did Not work, it kept making popping sounds. No soap in shower or sink in dispensers. Parking was Great as you parked in front of your room. The bed was super comfy although the blankets smelled like body odor i did go out and buy a blanket. The room smelled of some kind if asain food. Bought room freshener and i just couldnt get rid of that curry stink. Property was quiet and that was great. Over all it was a pretty good stay. Ill know not to buy items that need a fridge and probably invest in a travel size coffee pot.

It was ok
The room was overall clean and the bathroom look like it was updated recently, but still needed some work on the sink with wood exposed. The shower was nice, warm, and refreshing. The bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. I also had to unplug the TV even though it was off because there was still a glow in the room. Also, the auto fan function on AC didn't work right because the fan was basically running all night. The breakfast was very limited to just waffle iron, if it even worked. Didn't try because there wasn't any options, like cereal, pastries, oatmeal, etc. The place was ok, served a function for a night to sleep.

Good Value
Room was small, but very adequate for a quick one night stay. Bed was comfortable. We walked to the steak house next door and had a good meal. Very convenient. Great value for an overnight stay.

Americas Best Value Inn Belleville is not the best
It was difficult to locate the Motel since the Large Sign was missing. There was a only a small sign indicating the Motel entrance; There was NO breakfast; NO WIFI working; Only two small pillows; I had requested a Rm. with a Queen size bed. The bed appeared to be a Double. The pavement around the area was terribly deteriorated, However the facility appeared to be under partial renovation. The Bath Tile Work was very nice, but the Paint work was not very professional and the clothes hooks were missing. Would not recommend this Americas Best Value Inn because it does not live up to the name.

Passing through northern Kansas
The hotel was older but they are working to remodel. Proof was in all the construction boxes piled around the front door. We were a little concerned because there were no lights in the parking lot no porch lights outside the rooms then add the construction it was a little like the bates motel from all exterior appearance. The lady checking us in was nice the room was clean and when they say no frills they mean it. With all the negative in my review, it was super clean and was a life saver for the middle of nowhere and last minute booking.

Like any Motel this one is stuck in the 70's with their furniture. Any repair maintenance done on this property seems to be done by someone who never held a tool in their hands.

Bad experience with both Hotels.com & Motel
When I arrived at the motel at about10:30 pm, I had to stand outside and use a phone to call a person to the window. Even though I had email confirmation from Hotels.com with a confirmation number, the clerk could find no record of my reservation or payment. I tried to contact Hotels.com but all I could get was an automated chat that was no help. I then paid a second time for a room and rejoined the Hotels.com chat, explained that I had to pay again for my prepaid room and requested that my reservation through Hotels.com be canceled. Automated chat told me that I could not cancel. Now for the Motel: I had reserved a room with 2 bobble rooms but all the motel had was rooms with one queen and one child bed. When I turned on the light in the room, several roaches scrambled so I had to go back to the phone, call the clerk and request another room. The second room had no roaches. This was an overall very bad experience.

Old motel but room and bathroom were clean. It’s convenient, right on route 36. Check in process was ok. The girl didn’t seem to know what she was doing, but she figured it out. WiFi is weak—I couldn’t access it from my room on the back side of the motel. If I pass this way again I’ll probably try the Super 8 that’s in town. Oh, and the “free breakfast” that’s advertised is coffee and juice.
