“The best place to stay close to the hospital!”

Very nice entrance and breakfast area. Person taking care of the desk was friend and helping. Gave me instruction to where i needed to go. there is construction there now but it will soon be over. The sign is bid enough that you see it and get off. Stayed at a hotel next to them when I had another procedure and I would not dare stay there again! Great, room with micro and refrig if you happen to need it.Going back for another procedure next month an if the price is right I will stay there again. Rate was very good.

“Seems nice enough for what you pay”

Its cheap, so don't expect it to be too nice, but it seemed clean and nice enough for the price.

“Run down but clean”

While it was a little run down it was overall clean. The sheets were rough though, and I did see a roach in the bathroom. It was only one and it went down the drain. Its Texas and its an old building this was not so much a sign of an infestation, but its worth noting. I did appriciate the clean mini fridge and microwave that I was not expecting in the room. My kids enjoyed the pool. If I spent about $10.00 less a night I would have felt better about what I got for my money.

“Moving On”

Last year this hotel was in pretty good condition and this year you can tell that although the room was clean the building is in big need of repair. The "Molly's Pub" really just needs to be either torn down or opened up. The wall in the dressing area in my room had mildrew on it by the light switch. The parking lot was freshing blacked topped and the stop curbs were not replaced, black iron rods stuck out from the black top parking lot, which is potentially very dangerous. The rooms are inexpensive but I think next year we are moving on to another hotel, pay a little more but have a cleaner room

“Less than 2 stars”

Clean with a decent firm mattress. Cable tv didn't work. The pool water was not clear and didn't look clean. Free breakfast was cereal, juice and donuts. VERY poor front desk staff that were unable to assist with the simplest of requests like an extra pillow and towel!

“Cost-efficient”

I was disappointed to find an ashtray in my non-smoking room, although there was no smoke smell. The mattress was concave from overuse. While clean, the room presented itself as shabby. The bathroom was clean, but the grout was poorly mended, with cracks & missing chunks. Excellent water pressure and good tub drainage. If all you want is a place to crash without spending a fortune, this'll do.

“Bed and Shower--Great! Maintenance...the Pits!!”

The highlight of the stay was a comfortable bed and a good shower. The welcome committee was comprised of ants and spiders. The bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in a few times and the repairs were awful... The Sign in desk area reeked of stale smoke and the clerk's face would have cracked if she smiled.
