Cookeville was completely sold out for the weekend so we felt fortunate to get this room. However, upon arrival and entering the room we would have felt cleaner sleeping in our vehicle. There was a bug on the pillow, spider webs in the bathroom, water damage stains on the ceiling tiles in the bathroom, and last but not least, on the doorway a left over nest of wasps! My children slept in their clothes for fear of taking home any special "critters". We only checked out breakfast one morning and quickly left due to lack of selection and cleanliness/food safety concerns. Our hometown America's Best Value Inn isn't like this, but I'm afraid to use this brand ever again.

The sink had hairs in it & the bed linens looked like they hadn't been washed.

Just off the interstatePosted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: There are many restaurants nearby. I used Nicks (Italian/American) which is next door... excellent!
Cons: Everything was adequate for the price, with nothing specific to complain about
Location: I only passed through.
I selected this hotel based on Expedia client recommendations, location and price. I got what I expected; older, clean, adequate and no frills.

night of stinchPosted Dec 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
One we arrived, we had to give a $50 deposit after already paying for the room. The room stich of old stale cigarettes about knocked us down at the door. Very dated in all aspects. Sufficed for the night, I supposed, but would never return!! Upon check out, they lady at the first desk was not going to return my deposit until I asked for it.

Ok on a budget.Posted Dec 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
The owner checked us in and was very helpful with our payment needs. The location was convenient, but there was some road noise. The room was large, but extremely dated and unattractive. The bed was not very comfortable. There was a couch and a table and chairs which was useful. The room was clean. It was ok for the price.

Clean room, had a fridge and microwave, large bathroom for a hotel. Tried to check in early just to drop off baggage and get key, but was told no by receptionist, so had to wait till late at night, then the guy at the desk couldn't find my reservation, and and to look for about fifteen minutes before he finally got me squared away,

Good location and basic needs.Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: I like the price, amount of space, free wifi, cable, and location near lots of restaraunts and interstate!
Cons: Some of the furniture is old, and the heat and air works, but a little outdated as is the tv.
Location: Right near interstate drive which has a huge selection of restaruants as well as 1 minute from interestate.
I come to cookeville about once a month to spend the night for work and I stay here because it suits my basic needs. Reasonable price, I get a king with plenty of room for about $52 bucks after tax. Water pressure in shower is great. A little refridgerator and microwave. Furniture and tv are old, but all I really need is a cheap place to stay. They also have breakfast, nothing fancy, but has waffle maker, cereal, pastries, coffee, and juice. It is affordable and decent. Also has cable and wifi.

Bad experience.Posted Nov 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Poor service! The lady whom helped us at the desk was very rude and extremely inconsiderate; she later said she was the manager. I let her know I would never stay there again due to her attitude and and she said that was fine. There was no concern to make my stay nice. The room was clean and nice. But from now on I will pay extra to be treated nicer.
