Mostly PleasantPosted Jun 28, 2014
Location: It's clearly a drive-thru area; there are tons of other hotels and restaurants, set up for out-of-town guests. It was easy to navigate.
It's advertised as a new hotel; it is not a new hotel. Or, if it is new to the area, the building is not new. There were plenty of indications that the building was old, and must have been reformatted for La Quinta. It's also a bit loud; we could hear our neighbors [which meant they could hear our kids], and the highway traffic was loud. That being said, the room was clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, and everyone there was friendly. It's right off the highway, as advertised, which was nice because we were in the midst of a two-day road trip. The breakfast was decent, as well. It's right next to a line of restaurants, a mix of fast food and casual dining. That was a bonus, again, given the nature of our trip. My chief complaint would be the fact that they charged us for a crib. It was my understanding that the crib was included in the stay, especially since I had noted that we had an infant with us. That being said, they were accommodating and pleasant and just what we needed for our trip.

I'd stay here againPosted May 9, 2014
This La Quinta property provides travellers with a clean, comfortable, safe environment at a solid value price. We stayed just one night but it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Another plus is its location. It's near a number of dining options (we chose Longhorn). The room amenities include good quality toiletries and a compact refrigerator. The next time we're in the lovely town of Cookeville, we'll reserve a room at La Quinta.

Nice dog friendly hotelPosted Apr 21, 2014
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Easy access to the interstate, many restaurants nearby and best of all it was dog friendly! The staff was very helpful and the room and facilities were clean, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay here if we are in the area again!

Nice place and next to a Waffle House.Posted Apr 14, 2014
We were there for one night and it was nice. The only downside was the A/C unit was noisy but it did work.

Clean but the breakfast was less than desirablePosted Dec 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose this hotel because above everything, cleanliness is what I find most important and the reviews seemed to rate it highly for that. However, the free breakfast terrible. Unless you are flat broke, you are better off eating elsewhere. For free, it's barely edible. It's the worst free hotel breakfast I've ever had. But the rooms were nice and seemed pretty clean which makes it worth the stay.
