“Best Hotel In Cooperstown”

We've been going to Cooperstown for the past 4 years, and our experience at the Lake View Motel was, by far, the best experience we've had yet! The hotel is spotless, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. All of this plus a great view of the lake from our room, at a price that's very reasonable. We will DEFINITELY be back nest year.

“Lovely”

A wonderful family motel. Very clean, great location, and a wonderful staff. The mattress could have used an upgrade, but otherwise everything was terrific. My kids especially liked swimming in the lake and making use of the motel's fishing rods, with which my son caught his first bass! We are already planning a return visit soon!

Lake View Motel overlooks Lake Otsega, James Fennimore Cooper's Glimmerglass Lake. It's not a luxury motel, but is clean, pretty, quiet and classy. Who needs luxury when surrounded by nature's beauty in such abundance?

“Great little gem on Lake Otsego”

The rooms were nicely laid out, some with private porches overlooking Lake Otsego. The management was very accommodating and recommended terrific places to dine.

When we first drove up to the hotel it was at night and it didn't look very good, but when we drove up the drive-way we realized that the looks deceived us. It was a great place and I would stay there again

“Very lovely spot outside of Cooperstown!”

A really nice hotel on the lake. The room was spacious and the bathroom was also very nice. The view was amazing to wake up to every morning. The hotel itself is about a 10 minute drive to Cooperstown but driving along the lake is breath taking! Check in was very quick. The motel offers fishing rods where you can fish off a private dock. It also has a sunbathing area and swimming area which must be really nice in the summer! I would definitely stay here again!

Nice resort motel. Friendly workers. Dock at the lake right across the street with paddleboats and fishing poles.

Positives=Clean, convenient location, nice view of lake from parking lot and certain rooms. Negatives=no cell service for AT&T, weak wifi signal

“Great staff.”

Although we were a late night arrival, Bob, the hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the light was on waiting for us. Overall, a wonderful experience.
