In town for Baseball Hall of Fame. Excellent location. Close to end of tourist season so area fairly quiet. Lots of nice shopping and dining nearby.

Handle fell off the toilet, ice machine out of order, soda machine out of order. I mean it is not awful but it is wildly overpriced. It is clean. Front desk person did the best she could.

for the cost of the hotel it was well worth it.had a refrigerator and microwave. the carpet was brand new. the beds were full size not queens. A/C worked well. was right across the street from a Dollar General wich was a good place to get drinks and snacks and anything you might have forgotten at home. Cooperstown Dreams park is 2 traffic lights south on left( about 2 !/2 miles) and the village is about the same amt of time but just north. there is no pool. i would definitly stay here again

The motel was below average in decor and comfort. There was a slight moldy smell at first that did go away after a while. The sink is in the dressing area so washing up is not private. The breakfast consisted of dried cereal and cereal bars and coffee with artificial cream.

My Go-To when in the area!
Overnight stay to visit CDP and ASV. Convenient location to CDP, and very happy that they don’t require a minimum stay. The accommodations are fairly basic, but the rooms are nice, the price is reasonable, and the area is quiet

It was a great alternative to Airbnb. If you are looking for modern, updated rooms with expansive breakfast options, look elsewhere. What you will find is a hot cup of coffee, close to dreams park, kind/accommodating staff and clean place to rest. It’s what I imagine the rosebud motel would be/ Cooperstown version. Part of motel is used to house workers for upscale resort and overall they were respectful and kept to themselves. Would stay here again.

This place is very tired and sad. At $238 for one night, it is simply capitalizing on the Cooperstown thing, and that summertime there is a bonanza for them, meet another couple there, and they were forced to stay there due to absense of space in the area. It’s a dump, hard mattresses, everything is really tired and old. Never stay at Red Carpet brand again,

We recently stayed here while in town for a baseball tournament. Short drive to downtown Cooperstown and where we played at Clarke Sports Centre. Close to many local restaurants and grocery stores. The motel is very clean, felt safe and comfortable. Rooms are small but offer what is necessary for a short trip. A small breakfast of mini muffins, cereal, juice, coffee and tea were on offer. Staff looks to work very hard to maintain the rooms and property. We enjoyed our stay.

One night near cooperstown
Stayed at the red carpet Inn was greeted buy a friendly staff rooms were nice and clean near supermarkets in both directions 5 minute drive to cooperstown only regret is no pool but the location was great

I was in the area to watch my grandson play in a baseball tournament. All I needed was a bed (which I spent limited time in because of early morning and late night games) and a shower. Although the room's decor and furniture was vintage 1990's, the room was neat and clean. The walls were thin, so I could hear the TV from the room next door. I am not accustomed to having to make my own bed at a hotel/motel, but that is the case for the Red Carpet Inn. And the college student reception clerk was very helpful and cordial. Again, adequate and clean -- and for the purpose it served, I would definitely stay there again.
