Great location, OK but noisy roomPosted Jul 20, 2014
Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, but quite dated and not necessarily dusted regularly. There is no air conditioning so summer may be uncomfortable. Rooms facing the street are very loud, so use the earplugs provided! That said, I would stay again given the central location and easy access to all transit.

Wonderful hotel, close to Central Railway StationPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: The apartment was charming, the bed comfortable, and the view from our window was enjoyable.
Cons: There was nothing that we needed to be improved.
Location: Many, many cafes and restaurants are nearby. Two blocks away we picked up a sightseeing bus and had a great time touring around the city on that.
My wife and I stayed in the apartment side of the hotel for 6 nights. It was wonderful. The location of the hotel is about 3 blocks from Central Station, so we took the train from the airport. The walk from Central Station to the hotel was about 6 minutes. (Of course, you need a good map to know which way to go as you leave the station.) The staff at the reception desk were always very friendly and helpful. We never saw our room cleaner, but we always came back to a clean room. Since eating out in Copenhagen is about twice as expensive as eating out in our home town of Seattle, it was nice to be able to eat in our apartment most of the time. We found 3 different grocery stores within 1 or 2 blocks of the hotel. The most well-stocked one was called Rema 1000 or something like that. If we ever go to Copenhagen again, I will stay at the Ascot again.

Ascot ApartmentsPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: That it was an apartment not a hotel room.
Location: The station is easy to access and the tourist information centre is also close.
I really can't comment on the hotel as we only used it to check in/out. However the apartment was excellent. It had plenty of room for two people. A bonus was the separate toilet and a sort of walk-in wardrobe off the bedroom. Very comfortable for a short stay. Situated in a handy spot, not far from the station.

Good option if you want an apartment located well.Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Location. Kitchenette. Option for 4 people.
Cons: Water pressure in bathroom. Carpet cleanliness. Cleaning crew.
Great location. Nice place, but carpet could have been cleaner. Shower was ridiculously weak in water pressure. But overall a nice place and good amendments.

Good location in central Copenhagen.Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Close to Tivoli Gardens and central train station with lots of restaurants in close proximity.
The apartment was very OK. There was enough space and floor plan worked well but the unit needs updating. Good location as noted and met our needs, would explore other options in the area before going back.

Hotel in the heart of CopenhagenPosted Jun 28, 2014
Overall a good experience. We were looking for central location and a little more space so we would have the option for making own food. Nice, spacious and clean. Only issue we had was a MacBook standing on the table for charging was dropped on the floor when we returned after the cleaners had been there. Very disappointing that they unplug the MacBook and then (I assume by accident) drop it on the floor and just leave it there.

Well located pleasant apartmentPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: The staff were welcoming and helpful, and all spoke English perfectly.
Cons: The five steps from the foyer to the elevator were a bit of a struggle with our luggage.
Location: Walking distance from many of Copenhagen's must-see locations and parks. Close to the main railway station. Surrounded by lovely sidewalk restaurants.
The apartment that we rented was bright, spacious and comfortable, close to many restaurants and to the downtown attractions and tourist destinations. The kitchen included a 2-ring electric cooker and a microwave as well as a kettle so we could prepare basic meals, or heat up purchased foods, e.g. for breakfast.

Very central, good location.Posted May 25, 2014
A good central location from which to explore Copenhagen by foot, or up the coast by train. Lots of space in the apartment though if you did want to be able to use the kitchen, there were next to no items for doing so (for example no frying pan, not even a toaster). A number of towels had dirty marks, as it dropped on a dirty floor / stepped on, though the apartment itself was very clean and tidy.

May holiday in Copenhagen.Posted May 24, 2014
Pros: Size, facilities and location.
Cons: Some cooling for the summer months and opening the windows lets in too much noise. A toaster would be a good addition.
Location: City centre location with shopping, museum, Tivoli Gardens, Castle and Little Mermaid walking distance away.
Comfortable apartment with plenty of room for the two of us but would have slept 4. Cleaned daily with very helpful staff. Walking distance to major attractions but being in the city centre you need to accept some noise. Easy trip to the airport costing 230Kr by taxi.
