“Good hotel with a great location”

The rooms were small but very comfortable with nice bathrooms. The hotel has been newly renovated and it shows. Great breakfast in a sunny room with high ceilings. A nice way to start the day.

“highly recommend”

Historic building with all the modern conveniences. Friendly and helpful staff to a stranger intown. Since we arrived early , they stored our lugguage in a secured area. We also found it convenient to have picked a hotel that offered breakfast buffet. It helped to get us started without spending time looking for restaurants. Conveniently located to the center of town within walking distance of many attractions, especially the Tivoli Gardens. City bus transportation is just a couple of blocks away. We had a great tour for an overview of the twon and it's colorful history. Hope to return.

“excellent value for money”

Centrally located, within walking distance from Town Hall, Central Rly Station, Theaters, Tivoli Gardens--rooms were much bigger than expected, had a wardrobe, Fridge, TV with CNN, Eurosport channels, movies on demand including Erotic ones!!!--breakfast fit for a king--only downside in summer is that as there is no airconditioning, we had the windows open and heard the screaching breaks of the trains, noise from the crowd in the outdoor cafe34s and theater crowds--free 24 hour internet on 3 computers in the foyer and dining room--and we were allowed to check in online and print our boarding passes Will recommend and stay again

“Will definitely go back to this hotel when I revisit Copenhagen.”

Will definitely go back to this hotel when I revisit Copenhagen.Very beautiful inside: old and ornate, It is clean, the room was spacious enough, it has a GREAT breakfast, something for everyone, and it is close to the train station and Tivoli. Just beware of the prices in the bar, quite expensive.

“Simply delightful. Makes me want to go back to Copenhagen real soon.”

This hotel is truly European. Limited elevator access and no air conditioning. Stafff would provide fans. Loved the charm of the hotel itself. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Several cruise tourists were using the hotel as an easy access to the port. The hotel is a short walk to all of the main attractions such as Tivoli and Storget. Several restaurants around the corner. Breakfast included is a good choice. Taxis are easily accessible along the street.

“A comfortable Danish Hotel in an Ideal Location”

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was a typical Danish hotel. If you are expecting all mod cons or the height of luxury don't go. If you want a true Danish hotel do! Very few appear to have air conditioning but this is part of the experience! We left the windows open all day and had no problems with heat. The breakfast is fantastic although some things did run out. No tea or coffee in the rooms but plenty of cafes nearby. The location is fantastic - well within walking distance of everywhere - particularly the train station (weary travellers find comfort!) The staff were extremely friendly. The bar is expensive but very quaint.
