Best Western Mercur Hotel

Very helpful staff, wonderful breakfast buffet, close walking to Tivoli.

Very good, convenient location, easy access to center of Copenhagen, Tivoli and Central Station. All within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and were well looked after.

I HAD REQUESTED A ROOM FACING THE INTERIOR AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO HAVE ONE FACING THE NOISY STREET SIDE AS NO SINGLE ROOMS FACED THE INTERIOR. I AM NOT SURE OF THE TRUTH OF THIS. I ASKED FOR INFORMATION AT RECEPTION ABOUT THE COPENHAGEN CARD AND WAS TOLD TO GO AROUND THE CORNER TO A BROCHURE RACK WHERE NONE EXISTED. I HAD THOUGHT THE CARD COULD BE BOUGHT AT HOTELS. THE BREAKFASTS DURING MY 5 DAYS WERE ALWAYS AMPLE, BUT DISAPPOINTING TO FIND THAT MOST OF THE TIME THE SCRAMBLED EGGS, BACON, POLSE, AND PANCAKES WERE NEVER HOT. COULDN'T THERE BE MORE CONTROL OVER THIS?THINGS LIKE COFFEE POTS WERE NEVER MARKED TO SHOW DECAF OR REGULAR. MY SMART TV MALFUNCTIONED AND COULDN'T BE TURNED OFF. IT TOOK 3 DAYS TO REPAIR. THE STAFF HAD TO PULL OUT CABLES, EVEN AFTER ALL ELECTRICITY WAS CUT OFF. THE LIGHT ABOVE THE LOBBY COMPUTER MADE IT HARD TO SEE THE KEYBOARD

Staff for cleaning rooms woefully inadequate. The poor guy on the 4th floor worked hard, and was pleasant but his task required at least another person. One of the elevators was out for the week I was there. About a mile and a half from the subway. Desk staff was helpful. I waited for hours while the room was made up. The room carpet was filthy. The Other Best Western across town was better maintained.

Everything is excellent about this hotel except during our stay the temperature went up and there was no air conditioning in the room....it is ok during the winter but a/c must be provided for warm days.

The hotel is located within walking distance to Tivoli Gardens. Also nearby is Hop on/Hop off bus. Rooms are small but comfortable. The hotel has the best breakfast buffet we've ever had!

location very closed to centre station and Tivoli. Staff in hotel very kind and best service. Breakfast also very good and best service. They allow early check in even at 9am. this is really special!!

The staff were very good. My luggage was lost from our flight and we only had 1 day in Copenhagen and my luggage had not been found by the time we checked out, the next day we were in Israel and I received a call from them to see if I had my luggage back. I thought that was great they were checking to see if they could help...

The hotel is basic but it has a very good location and i guess good value of money
