“Modest but decent value”
I booked this hotel looking for the cheapest itinerary possible so my expectations weren't high to begin with. On the positive side, the hotel is just across the street from the Tarnby rail station giving me access to all of Copenhagen by rail and Metro. Free wireless internet was also provided. The windows open allowing cool air into the room at night. Staff was very friendly. The room was very modest & I was surprised but quickly got used to the accommodations. It's a small room, no closet, small desk, small bathroom (the entire bathroom is also the shower). My TV didn't work. I didn't report it, wasn't worth bothering & wasn't important to me. Breakfast/coffee is an extra charge & not included in the price of the room. The hotel isn't easy to identify from the road especially in the dark. The taxi driver I had never heard of it. The hotel shows as "permanently closed" on the iPhone map.
“comfy and affordable, not bad!”
Train station right across the street one stop away from metro connection, helpful staff, and got a good night's sleep. I felt comfortable there and also very happy with the price. Yeah they're still remodeling but the room itself was ready and that's all I needed. I'm satisfied.
“For travelers/backpackers/hostelers!”
Hotel was perfect for what it was. Expect nothing fancy. Very quick, affordable, and convenient way to stay near the airport.
“Not for everyone, but cheap and close to the airport”
One thing to note is that the hotel is under renovation, which was not disclosed when we booked the room - hotel signage states that they are under a "soft opening" for May-June 2011. The hotel is very basic, and the room was quite small, but we were only there for one night before we flew home, so it was ok for us. The bathroom/shower was a bit of an adventure, but it worked just fine. The wall mounted flat screen TV was great, but the blue light from the power button when it was turned off was incredibly bright. I got up in the night and draped a pair of jeans over the TV to cover the light. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to everyone, especially if you plan to spend any time in your room, but for a budget hotel close to the airport, it was clean and comfortable enough.
“Stay away”
This is not a Hotel. It is a place for backpacker. We have ordred this Hotel to one of our guest because it is located close to the airport but I was embarrassed that Danmark have such kind of place they call a Hotel. All was closed.
“Not impressed”
The location is okay, it's 2 miles from the airport (1 stop by train), and the hotel is very close to the train station. The downtown of CPH is another 2 stops by this train, max. 7 mins. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has no air condition, the air is hot everywhere... Be aware the rooms facing to the main road: it's very noisy due the traffic and the car park area in the front of the building, cars are come and go when guests leave the hotel in the morning hours and people chating while you wish to sleep. When the sun goes down the room's temperature is hot during the summer months. Ask a room facing to backyards! Recommend for overnight stay only.
