Äldre charmigt hotell m mkt nära station och tivol

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Bott flera gånger på grund av att det ligger bäst och bär historiska vingslag med sin stilfulla charm. Lite slitet och frukosten lite mini men ok annorlunda hotell

Wonderful hotel, great location. So convenient to the train station. We watched the fireworks in Tivoli from our window.

Pros: Close to Tivoli, good breakfast
I liked the hotel, but I am not happy that surveys require me to do extra work. Forget it!

Hotel close to central station

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Next to main central station.
Cons: The signboard of the hotel.
Location: Good location. Near to central station and tivoli.
Hotel is very close to central station and tivoli, providing an easy means to get around the city on subway and train. Cleanliness is ok. However, we were unaware that the hotel had another name and it was challenging to locate it as the main signboard was not facing the main road. As a result we have to circle around to find the hotel. The building has an antique lift and we saw a couple who was stuck in the lift for awhile.

Mysigt hotell på perfekt läge

Posted Jun 21, 2015

Great location/ okay condition

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Location!! Close to Tivoli, Andersen's Bakey, Train Station and many other sights in Copenhagen. Also the old world charm!
Cons: More sheets on bed and better pillows.
We stayed at the Copenhagen Plaza for two days before and one day after a cruise that left out of Copenhagen. We really could not have had a more wonderful location! It is right across the street from Tivoli amusement park, the train station (we didn't ride the train anywhere but went over there for food and snacks and it's an experience all by itself!) and then only a 15-20 minute walk to Nyhaun street which is the location of the great different colored buildings that line the canal. There is a grocery store (the MAD co-operative) in the train station, reminded me of an upscale Whole Foods market where we had several meals and got snacks, etc. The hotel was very historic and traditional. With the glass elevator that tends to get stuck quite a bit (we quickly learned how to rescue ourselves from it) and the very old Library Bar downstairs that was great to have a drink in each night. The street outside can be VERY loud during the night with fireworks that go off at Tivoli (I'm not sure if this is a nightly occurrence or special occasion) and people REALLY like to stay up late and party in Copenhagen. But don't think I would trade the two great balconies our room had even with the noise. The view was spectacular and gave you great sense of really being part of the city. The first time we stayed, the couch was pulled out into a bed (we have four in our room- 2 adults, 2 children and that seems to be challenging for a hotel in Europe) and it was SOOOO uncomfortable!

Quick visit to Copenhagen

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: Traditional décor and packed with character. The glass fronted old style lift was a collectors' piece. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing - I stay in lots of hotels and I loved this one. Very comfortable bed, excellent shower and very homely.
Location: Opposite Central Station so easy transport to and from the airport. Central location to see and visit everything of importance in Copenhagen.
Perfectly located hotel next to Central Station and in the heart of the city.

Nice hotel, good service, convenient location

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: It was quiet and sturdy.
Location: Tivoli Gardens, taxi stands not only at hotel but also at train station.
We arrived in Copenhagen by air and were delighted to see that from the airport we could get on the train that would take us to the main terminal which is only steps away from the hotel. The staff was competent and anxious to please. Breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and many attractions were nearby.

Bra lokalisert.

Veldig greit hotell. Anbefales.
