“Great location and friendly staff”

The only downside to this hotel was the fact that they do not have air conditioning. We were there during one of the hottest times ever and had to make the best of the unbearable heat. Temparatures were about 20 deg. F above average.

“Nice, quiet hotel within short walk of all the main sites”

The hotel was not in the center of town which was great because it was very quiet where we were. Since the rooms are not air-conditioned and it was quite warm in Copenhagen when we were there, it was very important to be in a quiet area as we needed to have the windows open. The room is quite small but we weren't there much and it's very clean with an incredibly helpful staff. Convenient walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay there again.

“Superb hotel in centre near Nyhavn”

The Strand is superbly positioned if you want to be near the Royal Theatre, Nyhavn, Amalienborg and Rosenslot. Also, the M2 metro from the airport comes very close. So convenient. Breakfast is extra, not cheap, but good.

The room was typical "European" small; but, otherwise most enjoyable. Great service, clean, nicedly equipped, excellent location, and a very good value.

Everything was great - hotel is very clean and cousy; rooms are big enough (we were staying in the double) despite what previous feedbacks say; we had a lovely view over the roofs of Copenhagen. the best about this hotel is it's location - couple mins walking to the heart of Copenhagen with all it's sight seeings!!!

The Strand Copenhagen is one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in in Europe. The bedrooms were a little larger than some European hotels we have stayed in and the room and bathroom were sparkling clean. Would definitely stay there again. One thing that might bother some people is that it's not right in the middle of the city but everything in Copenhagen is so close that it's only a half mile walk to the center.

“Quiet & Comfortable”

The Copenhagen Strand is close to the action, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The room was a good size compared to other European hotels we had stayed at, but beautifully appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was quiet and you are close to Nyhaven - an area with lots of restaurants and great people watching.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is in a great location, close to Strøget, Amalienborg and other turist attractions. The rooms are modern and clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is great. Can highly recommend this hotel.

good location and some rooms are with better view than others, so better ask for harbor view! Staff is good and helpful breakfast restaurant cosy and food is fine
