Excellent location friendly and helpful staff.Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. I was just disappointed that I couldn't do it justice! Sinking into the sofas with a cup of Earl Grey on our daily return.
Cons: The heat in the lifts!
Location: Excellent location: less than 10mins easy walk from Kongens Nytorv Metro station. Five minutes to a great choice of restaurants on Nyhavn canalside.
Despite being given a double room on arrival, after requesting a twin, the matter was dealt with. The staff were very apologetic about information on the booking form not being received by the appropriate department. As they were fully booked the first night, they provided us with another bed, for the room, then moved us into a twin room the following day. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.

Close to cityPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Close to the city, easy to get to, very good breakfast
Cons: Extra pillow available in room. More food available for people arriving late
Location: Within walking distance of Nyhavn, city centre, Hop on Hop off Bus, Boats and heaps more.
Close to city and clean, only grumble no spare pillow in room and very little available in the way of food if arriving late.

Excellent base to explore CopenhagenPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located for visiting the city and yet very quiet and relaxing down by the water.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Location: Do take advantage of the fee walking tour of the city which starts at the town hall; the guides are knowledgeable and friendly.
The staff were friendly and helpful, even though we checked in at 2 a.m in the morning. The room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities. The breakfasts were excellent . Although the hotel was busy, everyone was made to feel at home and there was ample choice for a wide range of dietary requirements..

Lovely hotel, but very hot in summerPosted Aug 1, 2014
This is a lovely, quiet hotel in a great location. Helpful staff and an excellent breakfast too. However it can get very hot there in summer. We stayed there last week and our room was unbearable. The window only opened 10 inches so very little air came in. We were offered a desk fan but it made little difference. Apparently very few hotels in Copenhagen have aircon, as they don't feel they need it, but I think they need to address the changes in climate. A simple and effective solution would be to install ceiling fans.

Needs updatingPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Good location to Nyhaven, central part of Copenhagen. Breakfast buffet was good and the price of this hotel was reasonable.
Cons: Upgrade carpets/furnishings, bigger beds, air conditioning, bigger rooms.
We arrived late in the evening to this hotel on a hot day and the room was very hot. The carpet in our room was stained & dirty, although the sheets on the bed looked clean. The room was also tiny and as soon as we opened the window to let some air in, bugs(Mosquitos) came in to the room, so we had to close it. We did not sleep well here and I would not recommend it.

Just one night, but loved itPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: The staff, the location and our room
Cons: Breakfast was a little disappointing, maybe a few more selections.
Location: see above
We walked into the main drag, enjoyed a wonderful meal, soaked up the atmosphere along the canal, and in the morning went for a walk and watched the city come alive. We have been to Copenhagen before, but this hotel was a little better than before, next time we stay longer

Very nice hotel.Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Staff & position near the canal
Cons: Air conditioning
This is a very nice hotel. Excellently positioned on a main canal. Very good staff, professional and friendly. Good breakfast, generous, plenty of choice and nicely presented. Our only quibble was our room had no air conditioning, it was very hot weather and so difficult to get cool air.

Local friendly hotel in quiet locationPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location & interesting old buildings.
Location: Many interesting tourist attractions locally, some local eateries also off the main tourist trail.
Enjoyed time in this quiet location on the canal and in walking distance to Nyhaven and the centre of town. Lovely breakfast.

Pros: Location, breakfast, decent sized room, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Usually not needed, but it would be nice to have air conditioning for the hot days. The rooms can get a bit warm during Copenhagen "heat waves".
Location: Perfect location by the water in Ny Havn. Easy walk to the nearby attractions... Amalianborg Palace, Rosenborg Castle, Strøget, etc.
I have stayed at this hotel many times during each stay in Copenhagen during that past few years. Good breakfast, staff, and location.

Nice hotel near to NyhavenPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Clean and well furnished
Cons: More fruit at breakfast e.g. bananas
Location: Near Nyhaven, Royal Palace and little mermaid. Longer walk to Tivoli gardens and high street shops. Lots restaurants nearby, good Jazz club opposite
This hotel is very nice. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were also very helpful. It is near to Nyhaven and not far from the Royal Palace. However Tivoli gardens are a bit of a walk.
