“Get it in writing.”
When we got there, they immediately told us that we would not get breakfast even though it was part of the Expedia offer. They eventually did, though. They let us check in way early and stored our luggage for us until we were ready to go. Also, there is no airport shuttle (website says there is) and they do not answer e-mails at all (says 72 hours). Staff was great. Clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Area not good. Public transportation very convenient (metro, bus and ferry). Would go back there.
“Great hotel - distant location”
This is a great hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly good. It's about a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. The downside is it's several kilometers removed from the city center. In order to get to downtown Copenhagen without a car, you have to catch a local bus that runs 4 times an hour and takes about 15 minutes. Once we found the bus stop it was easy to navigate and not a big hindrance. It's just not as convenient as we would have liked. That being said, we felt it was worth the trade off to stay in comfort at a 4-star hotel for a reasonable price.
“Too far away to city center”
The hotel is nice, but too far away from the center city. You have to take the bus, it'll take around 17 minute, but waiting for the bus another 20-30 minute
“Nice hotel for Copenhagen business/leisure stay”
We really liked this hotel. Breakfast was both continental and cooked and very tasty, rooms clean and modern, and it has a sauna and jacuzzi on the top floor, which was open late and we had it all to ourselves! Also a very nice seating area outside, on the quiet harbour side. Lovely to have a drink or have dinner, or just relax in the sun. On the road side, the rooms are quite noisy if you like to sleep with the window open. The harbour side is very quiet though. You can take bus 30 or 4a to get into town, or take the train to Sudhaven and walk for about 10-15 minutes. All in all very recommended, also if you want a more luxerious hotel close to the centre for the same price as a much lesser hotel in the centre.
