Nice but far away, and limited options for mealsPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The restaurant!!!
Cons: Provide directions to other options for meals - I didn't know if there were restaurants at the mall. The staff told me there was nothing nearby.
Location: Nothing near by--mall several blocks away, but I didn't walk to it. Train about 6 blocks away. Bus in front of hotel -45 min to downtown. Cab $50.
This hotel is a bus ride, train ride, or $50 cab ride from the conference center. I didn't mind because I got to know the city, but there is nothing near the hotel. This was a problem in terms of restaurants, as I found the gourmet restaurant at the hotel to be exorbitant--about $100 for dinner, without alcohol. The steak I ordered the first night al la carte was absolutely inedible. Granted, I asked for well done, but they decided to give me a piece that was so full of muscle and fat that it was impossible to cut. The plate had 3 baby carrots and 3 dabs (from a pastry bag) of whipped potatoes, meaning that I didn't get much to eat. The waitress asked if I was done and I told her I couldn't eat the meat to which she replied, "sometimes the beef is tough." For a $60 steak, I expected more. There was no apology or compensation. I just paid and went looking for another place to eat the other nights. The breakfast, however, is nice. Also, the hotel did not have the business class room I pre-paid for, and as compensation for 5 nights of a regular room with a twin bed instead of a king, they offered me 2 bottles of soda from the mini bar (not per night, 2 total). I thanked them, as this seems to be the notion of good customer service in Denmark. They were very helpful in getting cabs on time every morning. For a Denmark hotel, my guess is this was a pretty good place, and I had no complaints about the room. It was safe and well maintained.

lovely friendly clean hotelPosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was slightly worried about the hotel having read recent reviews (I booked many months ago) but the hotel was clean, friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The room was on the warm side but we took the quilts out the covers and used the covers on their own, the window opened fine to let air in, we were over looking the building site side of the building but this caused us no problems. The breakfast was yummy, Danish help yourself buffet style with a very very strange cheese slicer (watch out!). Parking was free and plentyful and they let us in the room about 10 am when we arrived to park while we went into the city. the hotel was about a 15 min walk to a train station, you buy the tickets in the 7 11 shop at the station and the train takes you into the city in about 15 mins. we arrived back late at might and it felt safe and comfortable walking in the area.

Overall clean and comfort but no air condition made it a little difficult. Breakfast was just great.

Good breakfastPosted Jul 28, 2013
If you are wanting to spend your time in Copenhagen itself, this hotel is a bit far out. However, it is much cheaper (and the free parking is a definite bonus) than comparable hotels in the centre of the city. And, it's a very easy drive into Copenhagen. The breakfast was very good, with lots of hot and cold choices.

Brilliant.Posted May 21, 2013
Pros: Staff and the room.
Location: Bus station a ten minute walk away.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and was impressed straight away by how incredibly helpful the staff were. I was attending a competition at the Ballerup Super Arena, I mentioned this to the receptionist and without hesitation she printed me a route planner detailing which busses I would need to catch in order to reach my destination. Excellent customer service! My room was great and the hotel in general was very clean, the room also boasted a lovely view. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.

Good hotel, but more a 3*Posted May 21, 2013
Pros: The bathroom
Cons: Price of food, poor advertising
Location: Near a very busy road, not much nearby apart from a local shopping centre and takeaways
Nice hotel, looks horrible from the outside but is rather suprisingly lovely inside. The room wad adequate however was terribly hot despite having the window open with no fan or anything is was rather unbearable. I understood there was climate control in every room but found out when I got there that was only business class rooms. For the price I paid I was quite disappointed, I would give it a 3 star rather than 4. The food was so expensive, £10 for a sandwich so I resorted to having a takeaway from down the road in my room which was much cheaper!! And more substantial. Overall a good hotel but cost too much for what it was

Good value for money. Spotless hotel. Out of the way location, but bus service helps.
