Nice hotel close to everything at the right pricePosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Cleanness, value, location, location, location...
Location: Walking distance to landmarks and shopping.
Pleasantly surprised with hotel facilities and very polite, professional staff. Close to everything you need to do on a 3 day trip like mine.

Fine for a nightPosted Oct 30, 2013
We stayed out final night in Copenhagen. Not a fancy ace but fine. Good breakfast.

Retro Hotel with a great location.Posted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: The retro style and the situation.
Location: Central location. Loads of restaurants and cafés nearby. Within five minutes walk to Tivoli.
The Alexandra is close to the railway station and situated on one if the main areas of Copenhagen. Convenient for almost everything that you might want to see, visit etc. The staff were welcoming and friendly and spoke excellent English. Given our lack of Danish ....an absolute bonus, They were so helpful and happily checked out information for us. Our room was small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The restaurant next door had lively food and a nice buzz in the evenings. Although situated on a busy road, noise was never an issue given the soundproofed windows. Will return and highly recommend.

City hotel close to centre of cityPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere run by people who seem to care about comfort and service
Cons: two lightbulbs blown in room
Location: Everything Copenhagen can offer in its city centre. Near Tivoli, train station, main shopping street, multitude of restaurants (Vietnam food in hotel)
Seemingly effortlessly comfortable, always polite, helpful staff. Nice ambiance. Very much Copenhagen. Absolutely faultless!

Clean hotel right in the city centerPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Location! Location! Location! Very clean. Great staff.
Cons: Really nothing for my short stay. I thought it was simply great!
Location: You are close to central station!! Do I need day more? By waking its just 10 mins away
I travel a lot! All over the world. Had the fortune of staying in very nice hotels. In Copenhagen I was looking for a clean and friendly hotel and that's what I got. Friendly staff, clean room and a very attractive location. I was there in September so weather was cool and Ieft the windows open

Nice hotel very centrally located.Posted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: Room preparation (locked save) and maintenance (plugged drain)
Location: Very central with lots of restaurants and entertainment nearby. One block to the Information Cenrre and the hop-on, hop-off bus.
Very helpful staff. Small room but very tastefully decorated. Had problem with vault that was left locked by previous occupant. Problem quickly solved by staff. Plugged drain in bathtub flooded the bathroom but nothing else. Staff promised to have it looked at when we checked out. Excellent complimentary breakfast but only scrambled or hard boiled eggs available. Overall a very convenient hotel with triple glass windows on the street side.

Great location!Posted Aug 21, 2013
I only stayed for one night. Great location and with walking distance everywhere we wanted to see. The room was very basic but comfortable. Enjoyed the food at the restaurant but was not impressed with the breakfast...The staff was helpful but not friendly, would stay there again only for the location.
