This is a gem in the center of Copenhagen. Very central, quiet and safe location. Room is well maintained. Will recommend to friends and stay again in the future.

Ottiima ubicazionePosted May 9, 2015

Old hotel, small room, friendly staff, thin walls.Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The friendly lady on arrival - that's about it.
Cons: Better breakfast, sound proofing,
Location: The street is actually well located - Close to Nyhavn, close to Kongens Nytorv, great food at the end of the street
Lovely reception on our arrival. The lady was very helpful. When we summoned the elevator a door opened revealing a closet sized elevator. (smallest I've ever been in) It barely fit us and our 2 checked bags - seriously The room was so small that the bedside table needed to be moved to actually get into the room. There was some storage behind the door where I could stick the bedside table and a piece of luggage. The bathroom is spacious compared to the room. Honestly, I didn't really care about the small room, but the killer is that the walls are paper thin, so you can hear every nuance from all around, and it seemed the toilet waste pipe from the above room went down our wall cavity. The poor soul above us was clearing his throat over - and over at 5am. Room was made up and always tidy when we returned. Then there was the breakfast. Poor effort. Not that I'm a seasoned pro, but it really was the worst on our trip, Not much on offer, Inadequate seating / table sharing - the staff were run off their feet. Yeah, breakfast was really disappointing.

Good value for money compared to other optionsPosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Relaxed environment, helpful staff.
Cons: The room bathroom has a bit of a bed smell that is usually the case with old buildings. However, the one in our room wasn't disturbing.
Location: Central location with very close proximity to Nyhavn. Also very close to Netto boats where you can board to have a reasonably priced canal tour
We had a pleasant stay here at the end of March this year. We stayed for two nights to explore the city and this hotel is very good in terms of its location: close to the metro and walking distance to most important attractions, such as shopping high street, Nyhavn, Tivoli gardens, Christianborg Palace, National Museum, etc. The facilities are basic, but we knew that. It is still enough to relax in the room and the availability of free Wi-Fi is a bonus. Free tea & coffee throughout the day is definitely a winning point. Receptionist was very helpful and honest. She even advised us to exchange money in the bank or other places instead of the hotel, because their exchange rate is very low compared to others. Breakfast is good with a variety of cold and hot options. And it's price was included in the hotel fare. The breakfast room is a little small though. So, it may be that you cannot find a table immediately unless you arrive early.

Located on a quiet street.Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Quite location. Staff is very good and helpful.
Cons: Not really, pretty good for a 3 star hotel.
Location: Easy walk to shopping area and restaurants, Tivoli and Little Mermaid as well as most things you would want to see. We walked everywhere we went.
This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Maritime. This trip we stayed 2 nights then left Copenhagen for a few days and on our return decided to try a different hotel-that was a mistake. We preferred Hotel Maritime. Hotel is located on a quiet area but it is very easily accessible to most attractions and shopping. If we have the opportunity to return to Copenhagen we would definitely stay here again.

Budger hotel feel...Posted Mar 25, 2015
The 1st room was terrible - dirty, mold, old, and noisy. We insisted on leaving but it was not refundable. Expedia and hospital staff were not helpful. We were moved to a much smaller room but it was decent. The breakfast was good for being included. Overall, the staff and accommodations were spartan.
