Excellent position. In a quiet street.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is very central and is in a quiet street. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: It would be nice if there was a safety box in the rooms.
Location: Very close to 'strøget', the main shopping street. Within walking distance of the Royal Palace and Langelinie and the Mermaid.
My husband and I stayed once again for 6 nights at this lovely hotel. Our favorite hotel when we visit Copenhagen.

Friendly central hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Spacious room with an extra partition for the third member of our party; very helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Air conditioning would be a bonus in hot weather, as would a little outdoor area for smokers. Coffee could be better.
Location: Close to all the central areas, e.g. Rosenborg and Nyhaven. Easy reach from the underground station. Perfect location.
Just stayed for one night during a heatwave. Beds were very comfortable but the room became very stuffy.

Great location; quiet, comfortable room.

Nice hotel very near Nyhavn and the waterfront. Close to the metro for airport connections. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the water pressure in the shower all that it should be.

Cute hotel with great staff and amazing breakfast

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was the best in Copenhagen. The coffee is fantastic and the spread was amazing.
Cons: I felt as though the room was a little pricey for its size; however, in comparison to similar places, it was in line with the area.
Location: Lots of shopping and dining close to the hotel. There is also a metro stop about 3 blocks away, which made getting around very convenient.
I found this hotel to be a great little place in Copenhagen's center city. It is close to shopping, dining and the harbor. The rooms are a little cramped and the bathroom is quite tiny, but if you're like me, you only stay in your room long enough to sleep and shower. The real treat is the breakfast. The coffee was the best I had during my entire time in Europe, including the many cafes, and the food was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made my stay very pleasant indeed.

Friendly relaxed hotel

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Quiet, friendly, relaxed. Lot of different nationalities stay there.
Cons: Kettle in room or facility to make tea/coffee
Location: Opposite Magasin du Nord and the other side is the attractive bar and cafe area of Kongens Nyhavn next to the water. Easy walking to most central area
Very friendly reception staff who are very helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. Have used hotel before and find it generally quiet, situated in a back street behind the Opera House. Breakfast, which is extra, is very comprehensive and filling including pastries, meat, cheese and fruit as well as the usual cereals and bread.
