Hotel Viktoria, CopenhagenPosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Clean, good location and private bathroom
Cons: Inclusion of a continental breakfast eg coffee and cake or breadroll
Location: Close to Central Train station and bus stops, information centre, shops and restaurants
The hotel is an easy short walk from the Central Train Station and to the bus stop and shops, restaurants and small supermarket. The reception area was being refurbished when I was there and there was no coffee. Wifi was available and worked. The room was modern and very clean with my own bathroom. I only stayed one night before joining a cruise and the bus #26 ,nearby, took me close to the pier. Which was good because I din't need a taxi. I would stay there again. Copenhagen hotels are generally very expensive and I had a private bathroom for $109, so that wasn't too bad at all.

Decent hotel, very bad timing!Posted Oct 14, 2013
This hotel is small and fairly basic in terms of lobby and corridors etc. The room I had was nice, and could be even better with a few simple touches e.g. Clean base of wardrobe give guests mugs and coffee for the kettle, bit of paint in places. So usually I would recommend to others - I'm a bit hesitant to do so however as I truly had a terrible night's sleep here. As I say in title this is probably due to the fact my stay apparently coincided with the Culture Night, which to most of my fellow Guests seemed to equal loud drunken teenage/style yelling and running from each others rooms till 4am, without the slightest effort to lower voices. The hotel staff must have heard this, it iz too small a hotel not to. I got the feeling this behaviour was tolerated until around 4 as it is a special occasion and maybe usually staff would have sorted it out. But as someone travelling for a relaxing night after a week of meetings nearby, i wouldn't risk it again.

ExperiencePosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The concierge really tried to make me feel welcome but I could tell he was not entirely comfortable with the circumstances either.
Cons: Finish the renovations, I met a friend who stayed there a year ago and he said they were renovating back then too!
Location: The location is good as its only 500 m from the Kobenhaven H but unfortunately that was the only redeeming feature about it.
I arrived and they were renovating - they did not advertise that this was happening so that you could choose another hotel. There was no reception desk. I was initially going to stay one more night in Copenhagen a few days later but because of this experience opted not to go back there. I had no phone in the room and the TV didn't work. So overall not entirely great.

Pros: nothing, it was a horrible hotel with horrible staff
Cons: clean the rooms at least every other dy. inform guests that in order for the tv & lites to work they must insert their access card in the slot on wall
Location: copehagen museum, train station, information station, church, few shops, few restaurants
The worse hotel in the world. no elevator, staff was not friendly and did not know anything. They would not look up info on their computer. they lied and said it didn't work but everytime i was in and out of the hotel, the staff was on the computer. they never cleaned the room, they were unable to help me when it came to directions, and any goings on around copenhagen. they were the worse, you are on your own. the staff was worthless.

Clean, comfy, convenient locationPosted Jun 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location of the hotel was not that far from the centre of Copenhagen - easy walk. The rooms I stayed in were comfortable, the double room was much more spacious than the single room. Beware, the bathroom is compact in both types rooms. The staff were helpful. The gold statuettes of deers were a novelty. The only issue was the strong smell of nicotine that permeated the rooms from the corridor.

Good hotel for the moneyPosted Jun 9, 2013
Pros: Large airy room
Cons: No elevator
Location: Everything needed was nearby
Room clean, bright and comfortable. Negatives-- no elevator, no phone, lack of extra wash linens. Location was fine, easy walk to some major sights such as Trivoli. Plenty of resturants near by. Based on hotel rates in Copenhagen it was a bargain.

Good location, bad facilityPosted Jun 7, 2013
What surprises me is that shower is combined with wash-basin. In addition, the hotel does not have elevator and stairs are very small. I never recommend here if you have a big suit case. I carried heavy suitcase up to 4th floor. However, location is good.

Lovely Decor but You Won't Get Any SleepPosted Jun 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel for stag/hen night. Close to trendy meat packing district. This hotel is located on a VERY UNSAFE STREET (2 x taxi drivers warned me). Cars rev engines loudly, people hang around the street it's located on. Loud music coming from surrounding bars/club, lesbian bar next door but the hotel itself is lovely. Modern furnishings, good sized room with windows that open (a blessing in a hot city), even a blackout blind. Noise comes from the doors that don't open or close without the full weight of your body slamming it open and pulling it closed. That was room 103 so if you are travelling alone, pregnant or not strong then request a different room. You can hear many guests opening and closing doors from this room. This is not a hotel for the business traveller. I was working in the software hub, CBD on Lyngbyvej 20 and this hotel is NOT close. The taxi was 300 Danish Krone. I stayed for two nights and my room/bathroom was NOT CLEANED

For backpackers. Near the sights, but noisy street outside. Minimal comforts.
