Good location in pleasant area

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location, overall good quality and great breakfast.
Cons: The bar was a bit characterless.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The breakfast was great and the hotel was located close to the metro and only a few stops from the main Copenhagen attractions in a quiet area of the City. Room felt a bit cramped for a family of 4, with two camp beds squeezed in right next to a double bed. Unfortunately we were right next to the service lift, which didn't help in terms of a good night's sleep, but we probably could have got moved.

Great view. Convenient to metro and bus

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: View, location
Cons: Better hvac control
Location: Half block from metro and bus stop (in opposite directions). Tremendous bakery and coffee shops yards from front door.
Originally booked the Radisson Blu near town center shifted here for a substantial savings. Metro and train stop half block away, and quick 5 min ride to town center, with trains every 2 min. Checked out other hotel, and it looked no different. Typically small european rooms, comfortable beds. Ask for a high floor, has tremendous views over the city.

Excellent hotel close to the city centre

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: There were plenty of parks, restaurants and shops close by.
This hotel suited us as we did not want to stay right in the city centre, yet we were only a short metro ride from all the sights. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel

The Metro station to the old town is just outside of the hotel. Buy the metro tickets at hotel is cheaper than at the station. Several restaurants/ cafes nearby. A shopping mall which has a big super market is 2 minute away from hotel. When I checked in, I was told the garage was full and I didn't have a reservation. We had to park at the nearby public parking garage whicis costs 60 DDK ( much cheaper though). After I got into our hotel room, I pulled out my paper work and found out I did request to reserve a parking space. I took my printout back to front desk, then the lady said she could find a spot for me at the hotel garage.

Busy, small rooms, not usual Radisson Blu standard

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Nice location, outdoor restaurants and parks nearby.
Cons: Coffee maker in the room. Redesign buffett table in breakfast area - drinks need to be further away from hot food (all were in corner)
Location: Frederiksberg Castle and park, Carlsberg brewery, musuems
Family with one child: Width of room was three single beds wide when pushed together, bathroom was tiny but efficient. Friday night revelers kept up noise level until nearly 5 am. Breakfast was chaotic to say the least, poorly designed buffet table, coffee, juice and milk were unavailable, staff was overwhelmed. Saturday night was slightly less stressful.

would repeat stay only out of desperation

Posted May 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
of the many problems we encountered during our 6-day stay at this hotel the worst was lack of temperature regulation in the shower... ours had a 5 second cycle: hot water for 2 seconds, cold for 3; very difficult to adjust it to be tolerable over the varying temperature range. the second worst problem was the terrible overuse of salt in the restaurant: the eggs at breakfast were horrible. the tiny room (or was it a small craft berth?) with faux-bamboo furniture didn't help. we couldn't tell if the carpet was decades past it's end of life date or the maid just didn't understand how to use a vacuum cleaner.

Very nice hotel, stunning view of Copenhagen if you get an 'odd-numbered' room, very friendly and helpful staff; super-easy to get to from the airport via Metro; within walking distance of several very good restaurants (Melee, included) and part of Copenhagen University. A bit expensive, especially the breakfast buffet (which is quite good) - but then everything in Copenhagen is expensive.

Good location for events held @ hotel

Posted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
A stones throw from the Metro station, situated on a busy street with plenty of shops/food places (24hr McD's across the road, amongst others!). The hotel was a tad dated though with wicker furniture & a very small and dated bathroom. Having spent the previous night in a different Radisson in Oslo, this one could really do with the modern upgrade the Oslo hotel had received. Staff were great though & since we went to an event taking place in the hotel, it could not have been any more convenient location wise!
