“Helpful staff”

The front desk personnel were extremely helpful when my husband developed a medical problem. They helped us locate and get to an urgent care facility and then let us stay three hours beyond checkout time, without extra charge. The room was bright and cheerful and the location near the train station is quite convenient.

“Recommend highly for budget price”

We chose this hotel for its location and price. We were able to walk to Tivoli gardens and the sculpture museum. We stayed before and after a cruise. The rooms were identical, small, not air conditioned but quite adequate for the price. Duvet rather than sheets. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Helpful staff, excellent English. We recommend and would stay again.

“Comfort in Copenhagen”

This hotel was within easy walking distance of Tivoli and Stroget (shops). The staff were very helpful and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and as much as you can eat. The room was comfortable and was everything you could want after strolling around this beautiful city.

“Would stay again”

Great location, clean, tidy. European rooms and beds are always small. Would stay again. Good value in a generally expensive city.

“Close to train station, friendly & helpful staff”

Only a 10 minute walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room basic but clean, and whilst shower room/toilet/bathroom was small it was suitable for our 2 nights. Loved the antiquated lift although we didnt have any large suitcases. Hotel really good for the money, and the breakfast was fab, eggs, meat, cheese - it was really nice to start the day with and the choice of bread and rolls were great - the coffee and juice was fine. I would definitely recommend the Savoy for a 3 star hotel with breakfast. Although the location was close to all sights, walking everywhere was not a problem, we didnt like it after dark....and tended to use local restaurants (there were lots) so we didnt have to walk around the area at night. Have to say that the character of the hotel and the great staff outweighed any negatives.

“Satisfactory”

Pretty central location, clean, 24 hour reception, vending machine with snacks and drinks including beer and free internet access in reception. In my opinion pretty basic accommodation but reasonably priced and was everything I needed. It was close to all main attractions and the main train station, they supply bottle opener and corkscrew in the room which I think is really useful. The room was a good size (single) with good size bathroom and shower that works! Staff were frindly and breakfast was typically danish but nice.

“Simple, no-frills hotel in great location”

Nothing fancy about this hotel but it was clean, offered free wifi & breakfast and was in a great location so we found it to be a very good value. Staff were all very helpful. Just a 5 minute walk to the train station and Tivoli. We really liked walking along the canal which is just one block behind the hotel and around the surrounding neighborhood (direction opposite Tivoli), which has many nice little shops, cafes and restaurants.

“Convenient”

Perfectly pleasant hotel with a nice breakfast that suited us very well. A quiet base. Extremely convenient for getting around the centre of Copenhagen, and easily walkd to from the central station. We walked, used the bus or the free cycles. The Cofoco restuarant, a very short walk away was excellent.
