We'd stay here again for comfort and service

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Staff, beds, wifi, breakfast, location . . .
Cons: Better toiletries. Fresh milk in the lobby.
Location: Bus 26, past the door, goes right through the centre to the ferry terminal. Bus 9A, a few minutes' walk way, goes through to the Opera.
Comfortable beds. Helpful staff (good for advice - and weekend table bookings, when the local restaurants are very crowded). Great breakfast with all supplies kept up right to the last moment. Coffee and fruit in the lobby. And all in walking distance of the central station, Tivoli Gardens and the main attractions (which are also accessible using the bus which passes the front door). We came for the location, the wifi and the included breakfast - and we'll come back for the comfort.

Great for the station

Posted Apr 1, 2014
The hotel is very convenient located five minutes from the station and 10 minutes to the city centre on foot. also it;s one of the few hotel to provide breakfast for guest which is a big plus in the mornings. the room was small but Quite clean and comfortable. Access to free unsecured wifi. All room face out on to a small courtyard, which is having some building work done at present, however we didn't encounter any noise from the building site

Very very pleasant staff

Pros: It is a small but charming and comfy hotel. Lots of original art details and quaint vistas at all corners. The staff is wonderful, kind, and helpful.
Cons: Add some fruit salad to the Breakfast menu.
Location: The location is close to railway station and Tivoli park yet close to the old part of the City, sites, and restaurants.
A nice, warm, and charming stay. The staff went out of their way to make you feel wanted.

10 minutes from station

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Location and Cleanliness. Good value for money
Cons: A little more attention to food supplies at breakfast time would be appreciated
Location: Plenty to see and do within walking distance. Hop on/off bus and canal tour were good value for money but use the original red bus, not the blue/red
Lovely hotel and despite being on a main road and the building work going on next door we didn't hear a thing. Room was spotlessly clean and included tea/coffee, kettle, hairdryer. Towels changed daily if required. Also complimentary tea/coffee, fruit and pastries on reception. Breakfast was a little manic, sometimes difficult to find somewhere to sit, but there was plenty of food and choice. Only issue was the waitress who had her hair in a plait but wore it over her shoulder so it brushed against the plates of food she was serving. As I said, plenty of food and it kept us going all day. Beautiful city with plenty to see and do.

Hotel Savoy - Denmark

Posted Mar 7, 2014
The hotel was nice, quiet and clean and in a great location: only 10 minute walk to the rail station and 15 minutes to the shopping street. The breakfast was continental with lots of fruit, pastries, ham and cheese. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful and spoke great English. I was only there for a couple of nights for a quick business trip but I would definitely recommend it.
