Close to Central train station.

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: It has a great breakfast buffet and a lock luggage room.
Cons: Provide coffee/tea facility in the room despite what floor you are in.
Location: The location is central to many places. Trivoli gardens is a must and there is a tourist information nearby.
I think the bathroom is too small even for one person and no coffee/tea facility in the room. The staff were very nice and helpful in many ways.

Good location and extras

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Chain hotels (for those Americans who travel Europe) offers amenities I would look for.
Cons: Very happy
Location: Copenhagen tour of the canals.....did a great food tour with Marie, market was amazing, went back on our own. Bikes, bikes, bikes :)
Room was close to train station for travel needs, had AC (most do not), had refrig in Room., Breakfast was more than ample. Was pleased with this hotel.

Acceptable but we saw better places.

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Room was large, bright and airy, with large bathroom, comfortable bed.
Cons: The hotel is getting old and shabby, especially in public areas and bathrooms. Scandic needs to invest to improve this property.
Location: See above.
Good location IF you want to be near Tivoli, the main square, and the main train station, but we would opt for a different location next time. Also close to a major "hop on-hop off" tour bus stop (a great way to see the city).

Nice hotel. Very convenient location.

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: The location! Close to everything. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Near everything in city center of Copenhagen and short train ride to Sweden, Kronberg Castle in Elsinore, the Viking Museum, or other islands.
This hotel is very near the train station and is within walking distance of many attractions. Tivloi Park, Christianborg Palace, shopping, Our Lady's church, canal tours--easy walking distance. Amalienborg Palace, Marble Church, Rosenborg Castle, Little Mermaid--long walking distance or short bus ride from the train station. We found it very convenient. They serve a nice breakfast every morning which is free. The Wi Fi--which was free-- was adequate although we had some difficulty logging on sometimes. The rooms were nothing fancy, but clean. It is in a safe area of Copenhagen. There is virtually no lobby and no amenities like spa, pool, etc. but we never stay in the hotel except to sleep so that was fine with us. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Not worth a 4 star hotel, rather a 2.5 star hotel!

Posted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: 1. Excellent breakfast choices 2. Proximity to the central station
Cons: 1. Renovate the building 2. Upgrade linen 3. Expand bathroom facilities
Location: Walking distance to almost everything,, although e city is not that big to explore.
We're given a very small room. Negatives: 1. Old, soft and lumpy mattress 2. Worn out carpeting throughout 3. Walls dirty in desperate need of new paint 4. Awful bathroom where shower is next to WC, on same ground level which means that when one takes a shower, the other person can get wet if sat on the WC 5. Towels completely worn out: yellowish and threat bare. 6. Bathroom supplies almost non existent Positive: 1. Nice staff 2. Able to change room next day, to a slightly better room, but still not with a 4 star hotel room! Conclusion: this is. 2.5 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel!

Great central location, excellent staff!

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: Location, the fantastic staff, comfortable bed, clean hotel, great breakfast!
Cons: Not much that i can initially think of.
Location: Lots of restaurants to visit nearby (Lele was a great find), Tivoli Gardens is just around the corner.
I stayed for 4 nights last week (14-18th May 2014). I stayed in a Single Queen Bed room for one eve, and then a Superior Room for the remaining nights with a friend. First impressions were that it was a fantastic location, literally around the corner from the central train station. The hotel staff including (and especially) the receptionists were all brilliant (very friendly and helpful). The first room I stayed in was perfectly fine. The room I moved to when my friend arrived was fantastic though. The beds in both were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great and gave you a fantastic choice, and the bar downstairs was a decent pre-dinner venue (with great bar staff). Ultimately I would happily go back!
