Huge queues to check in no place for taxi to stop

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Close to Tivoli gardens
This is a very poor hotel. Vast queues to checkin/pay. Ludicrously complex lifts and too few of them. Expensive crowded breakfast (extra of course). Fees to pay by credit card. Rooms cleaned at 4 in the afternoon. Impossible for taxis to stop outside. A really low quality experience. Avoid.

Great Location. Room could've been better.

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, Location, two entrances, comfort.
Cons: Curtains,Bathroom cleanliness / facilities,Bedding,TV needs hinged bracket. Local information about which way to stations and Metro would be helpful.
Location: Great location within easy reach of Town Hall Square. Possibly the nearest hotel to Tivoli Gardens.
The Hotel was well situated in the Radupladsen area of Copenhagen. My First visit to the City. It was within easy access of the 5A airport bus and once I found out where the Railway Station was, it was just a short distance away. It was however quite a walk to the nearest Metro Station at Norreport. As for the hotel, the hotel itself was very nice with a good choice of continental breakfast on the 6th floor which had a terrace overlooking the roads below. It did get very busy though around 9am. The room itself I thought could have been a bit better though. The curtains did not cover the full window, so I was woken at 5am as the sun came up. They could do with blackout curtains that can cover the whole of the window area. The double bed was comfortable, although having two single duvets as opposed to one large one was not to mine or my partners liking. As for the bathroom, although it was nice, I was a bit disappointed to find a shower over the bath, rather than a seperate shower cubicle. There was also signs of dirt/mold appearing in the bottom corners of the wall tiles in the showering area. I also found that the glass door did not prevent water from pouring all over the floor and around the toilet area. There was a drain in there, but it did make the floor rather slippery when exiting the bath. The bath was also quite high for my partner to get in and out of, but was ok for anyone of average height.

Great location/clean

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: The hotel is close to Tivoli and the train station. The supplied nice umbrellas for their guests.
Cons: It would be nice if they supplied coffee in their rooms.
Location: Tivoli Gardens, restaurants, train station are within walking distance
This is a nice hotel. The beds are very comfortable and it is clean. It is not fancy, but is well-worth the price because of its location.

Well positioned - value for money

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Facilities and staff
Cons: Impossible to get a cooked gluten free breakfast for my wife - essential for her.
Location: Very central - easy access from the station. Main tourist attractions (Tivoli, Stroget, museums) close by.
This is an extremely well-run hotel with good committed staff. The facilities are modern and well kept, all the basic services, such as room cleaning, are carried out both to a high standard and unobtrusively. Our room was exceptionally quiet for a city centre hotel - a great bonus.

Nice, good location, helpful staff.

Pros: Location was great. Breakfast was good.
Cons: We paid for breakfast with the room but due to an early flight home missed it on day two. They did give us each a glass of wine but no refund.
Location: Pedestrian mall, city hall, canal boat rides, etc within easy walking distance.
Small, clean rooms, good WiFi. Close to City Hall, Tivoli, and pedestrian mall. Easy walk to a variety of resturants

An Excellent Hotel in the Centre of Town!

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel and would stay there again if I visit Copenhagen again.
Cons: Although there were lots of items to eat at breakfast, I would have liked to have seen more of a variety of cut up fruit. (without the rind attached)
Location: You can walk to all the sites provided you have a map and are able to orientate yourself.
This hotel is in a great location. It is close to Tivoli, Town Hall, The Glyptotek, the train station and within a 10-15 minute walk to countless other points of interest. We did not use public transit once. I was very happy with the friendly staff and super cleanliness of the hotel and room. It is also very near to a pedestrian shopping district where you can find lower and higher end stores.

Good hotel in excellent location.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Hotel was in excellent location, close to Tivoli and opposite the town square.
Cons: Lack of a restaurant may be an issue for some travelers although this did not bother us.
Location: Within easy walking distance of all the main sights in the city centre. Not far from central train station for easy access from the airport.
Great time in Copenhagen. Hotel is in an excellent location, close to all main city centre attractions and central train station. Hotel is on a busy road however our room at least was very quiet. Room not big (typical of a city hotel) but sufficient and kept very clean. Did not eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. A good hotel in prime location and good value for money.

Good location

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The closing of the curtain was difficult and there was no sheer curtain provided. With the office block across the road, it was awkward through the d.
Location: Close to Tivoli, 15 minute walk to Nyhavn, close to shops.
The hotel is located close to the main train station so it is easy to get to if you've arrived with a plan/train combination. The room views are not as good as claimed by the web site. When booking through Expedia, I note that the rates I was given for a superior room were essentially the rates the hotel charges for executive rooms. The superior room didn't have the promised MP3 player; not a big deal, but don't make the claim if you don't provide the service. It is a fine hotel for sleeping and showering, but I felt it may have been more expensive than it should have been. Admittedly, that's my fault for not checking the rates with the hotel directly.
