“Not impressed”

Well I must say I was quite disapointed. This is too much expensive compared at what we can get in America for the same price. No wifi, no telephonne in rooms, no wake up call, small rooms, not really clean, noisy neighbourgh. But all Denmark is so expensive that may be that is a normal price for an hotel like this.

“wouldn't go back”

No phone in room, no alarm clock, very minimal decor, old and dated. Easy walk to town square and Tivoli gardens.

“Location, location, location!”

If you dont mind the noise tha comes from outside then is a good hotel to stay because of its location in the center of the city.

“Central location, no frills, friendly atmosphere”

This is an hotel I used many times in the past, the staff is friendly, the place is comfortable, a very convenient location just outside the central station. This is a good bargain, don't expect a luxurious place but it's decent and clean. They provide wireless access and the usual amenities. The rooms in the backside have a certain tendency to be noisy for the adiacent street (for car traffic) and in the late hours for nightlife people, but this is just a minor issue. Recommended.

“Convenient Copenhagen”

Its good value for your money, very convenient, just in-front of the Central train station in Copenhagen. Cheap train ride from airport to hotel. A stone throw away from Tivoli garden. Good breakfast.

“Hotel Astoria, Convenient, Clean and Comfortable”

Hotel Astoria is in a very convenient location, about 100 steps from the back of the Copenhagen train station (opposite side of station from a Tivoli Garden gate). Room with king size bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was great, as good or better than any on our trip. And, they provide free internet access. The hotel is close to many attractions in Copenhagen such as Tivoli Gardens, the City Square, the Stroget (pedestrian street) and of course the train station which allows easy access to the metro, trains, taxis and buses. There are a number of small shops in the station as well as ATMs. I would certainly choose Hotel Astoria on another trip to Copenhagen.

“Train Noise Train Noise”

The problem with staying at this hotel is the noise of the trains. The hotel is located right next to the train station. The trains run below the hotel and stop outside your window. The trains seem to run every five minutes and throughout the night. The service desk was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage before check in. There was a computer with free internet access. There is a nice indoor pool a couple blocks away that you can use for free as a quest of the hotel. The room was clean. The accommodations were ok for budget accommodations. The free breakfast was good.

“Not impressed”

The room did not have an iron or ironing board. In addition the hotel was located next to a Train station and was very noisy. I do have to say that the free Continental breakfast was very nice.

“Convenient hotel and a little out of the ordinary, good breakfast buffet”

This was our second stay at Hotel Astoria. There is a story behind the unique design of this hotel. It is located right out the front door of the central train station, and near Tivoli and the center of town, so it is convenient for those who don't want to walk far with baggage. The desk persons were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The budget priced rooms are small, but clean and acceptable for a short stay. Wireless internet was okay late in the evening, but agonizingly slow in the morning with (I assume) many more people using it. The Danish breakfast variety and quality are excellent.
