Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: fix the squeaky floors
you can hear averting from the above floor. Someone from upstairs room was walking all nigh till the morning and me and my wife couldn't get good sleep. After I told front desk lady she didn't do anything. Will never come back to this hotel.

Clean hotel close to intersections

Posted Sep 4, 2014
The hotel was booked so I could visit with a relative in Coquitlam. The hotel is fine: clean, staff polite. There is no restautant or store in the hotel. There are no restaurants or stores nearby. I was on foot and was shocked to have no access to food after 9:30am (complimentary breakfast). The complimentary breakfast is adequate: hard boiled eggs in a crock-pot, breads, bagels, muffins, jams, cereals and yogourt plus do-it-yourself waffles, coffee, tea and juices. What about the rest of teh day? The amenities (pool, hot-tub, sauna) is misleading: small super-heated pool which seems to qualify as a hot-tub, cannot be used for "swimming". The sauna is clean but be sure to turn teh heat on long before you plan to use it!. All (2, 3??) staff were courtious and helpful.

Quiet, clean and friendly

Pros: spacious and clean
Cons: internet speed needs improvement
Location: easy access going to Braid station
Easy to talk with staff, and talking to the boss is not necessary when I need something which requires on time response

family vacation traveller

Pros: good value for money
Cons: driveway to the hotel parking lot hard to find, and sign way above driver's eye level. Once missed, a 10-min detour is required to find it again.
Location: not much, but easy access to the highway to downtown Vancouver.
OK hotel at a decent price for Vancouver. Bathtub drain plugged by a thick hairball. Otherwise bathroom was clean.

decent for the price

Posted Aug 15, 2014
great location. only about 15mins to downtown. the rooms are ok but the carpet is really dirty and so were the blankets. The beds themselves were clean, although our fitted sheet was too small for the bed and kept popping off. The bathroom was clean as well. As long as you being socks or keep your shoes on,and dont need a blanket to sleep, yyou'll be fine.

This hotel was great for the price. Although the decor was dated, it was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised they had a hot continental breakfast as the expedia website didn't mention this.

nice enough

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: the breakfast was good
Cons: the pool area was a little smaller than the photos suggested, sure could use some plants and loungers there in the summer.
Location: well it is near the transcanada and ikea which would be the main reasons people stay there.
its a decent hotel, picked it for proximity to new west. our room was quite spacious. some people have mentioned noise from the highway but did not notice any.
