주변에 한국 식당 편이

Posted Jul 27, 2015

Nice Hotel in Coquitlam

Posted Jul 15, 2015
The hotel itself was comfortable and clean. Each morning I had to bang on the door so the housekeeping staff would stop screaming at each other and wake our sleeping child. Our door lock also did not open easily. We asked for someone to look at it but it was never fixed. The price of this hotel was a bit high given the location and lack of amenities, but it is the best hotel in this area.

An adequate experience

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds, good rate, decent location.
Cons: Check-in explanation of the parking lot (don't pay at the machine in the garage despite all the signs saying to do that, drop bags off first, etc.)
Location: Around 20+ minutes drive from here to attractions like Capilano, Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park.
Everything about our stay was middle-of-the-road. Staff were fine although not exceptionally friendly or helpful. The room was mostly clean although the maids could have been a bit more thorough and it looked like the room had been cleaned very quickly. Parking in the underground garage was sufficient but a bit annoying and the process was confusing, which could have been avoided with a proper explanation at check-in. Air conditioner was fairly loud but that's probably not an issue during normal times of the year when it isn't so hot. Parking cost was extra although not too bad and breakfast was not included. Location was fine and near a train station; however, we ended up driving the rental into town to speed up what would have taken much longer if coordinating train and bus schedules.

We picked the location and the price.

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: We wanted to stay in Coquitlam.
Cons: Including a breakfast for convenience without spending a fortune. We sat and waited in the restaurant for coffee but left as no one came to serve us.
Location: We wanted to stay in this location as we have friends that live near by.
Disappointed that breakfast was not included. Coffee shop in plaza was closed and nearest place for coffee and breakfast was Macdonalds. Not much activity in the plaza and was a disappointing.

Unavailable Amenities

Posted May 26, 2015
Hotel pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi did not open until 10:00 am and check out time is Noon. This does not allow time to use these amenities. Why do they even have them? most people enjoy a little exercise and sauna early in the morning, not mid-morning. Our mattress needed to be replaced. We noticed right away there was a dip on each side of the king sized mattress and it proved to be quite uncomfortable to sleep on. Parking is not great and you must walk quite a distance with your luggage in an underground lot. There was also train and road noise even though we were on the 8th floor.
