Unavailable Amenities

Posted May 26, 2015
Hotel pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi did not open until 10:00 am and check out time is Noon. This does not allow time to use these amenities. Why do they even have them? most people enjoy a little exercise and sauna early in the morning, not mid-morning. Our mattress needed to be replaced. We noticed right away there was a dip on each side of the king sized mattress and it proved to be quite uncomfortable to sleep on. Parking is not great and you must walk quite a distance with your luggage in an underground lot. There was also train and road noise even though we were on the 8th floor.

Slightly better than average hotel

Posted May 11, 2015
On arriving, there were a lot of line ups of young adults at some local bars. very noisy, but controlled. Room was very comfortable. Air conditioner is the type that's right up against the window and when it's blowing, it blows air between the curtain and the window. Can't someone invent something to keep the curtain against the window and have the air blow into the room??

Easter weekend

Posted Apr 8, 2015
The staff are amazing, and the Easter brunch was super tasty and fantastic. The pool and hot tub are outside which we weren't expecting and it was a bit chilly outside to make use of it. Also we weren't sure what to expect from the 'jacuzzi' in our room... A clearer website with detailed information would have helped with that! Overall I had a very good stay.

Best hotel in Coquitlam

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Beds were comfy and rooms were always very clean. To welcome us, they had a cute fruit basket in our room.
Cons: The staff at breakfast were grumpy at both my stays there. Also the breakfast buffet is not worth 15$. I always ate out for for my stays there.
Location: Petrol station was close which was perfect for my rented car. A mall and lots of other stores walking distance.
I stayed here because i neede a hotel in Coquitlam. This is the second time i stay here, and will always be staying here when visiting BC. Location is great. Hotel is great. Theres a bar attached to the hotel, so lots of drunks at night around there and the only bad experience i had there was during the weekend, a drunk woman was screaming her head off outside in the street from 1am to 2am and i couldnt sleep. Everything else was great. I love this hotel and the staff, from housekeeping to receptionists, but not the breakfast staff. Both stays i did not like the way they spoke or served. Actually, there was hardly any service. I felt like they were forced to wake up and come to work. Grumpy women.
