Out-dated, smelly, but good location

Pros: The desk clerk was pleasant, welcoming and offered some take out menus and local sites to see. Location was good.
Cons: The rooms need a make over and deep cleaning.
Location: Good location. Plenty of restaurants close by. Right on major road.
The room stank! Smelled musty overall and the cupboard under the kitchenette sink smelled rancid. The carpet was dirty and wrinkled up, slipping when we walked on it. The in-room binder (hotel, TV, local restaurant information) was outdated and incorrect. To control the heat, we had to use the thermostat on the wall then set the fan speed on a unit across the room. The shelf in one of the bedrooms was so dusty and dirty that it would not wipe off. The bed linens had ink or oil stains but appeared to be laundered. Not enough lighting in the main room (a table lamp on one side of the room or the kitchenette light behind). The shower was clean but there was no point to setting a comfortable temperature because I would get blasted by scalding hot water then freezing cold water as (I assume) other units used their toilets and taps.

Needs serious cleaning,very musty and dusty.

Washrooms unclean and made beds had hair in them when uncovered to go to sleep for the night made for upset wife,lol.

Downgraded our room and never changed the amount

We had reserved our room on Expedia and told them that we had a pet. We had to pay for the room in advance, which we did. When we arrived at the hotel, they downgraded our room and didn't refund us the difference. Overall, the price I paid for the room was definitely not worth it. I will not be staying there again.

Pros: The breakfast in the hotel...didn't have to leave the building..
Cons: More selection in TV channels....
Location: Very central and close by to the amenities...
We were very pleased with the courteous manner we were greeted..the helpfulness of offering us a take out restuarant in the area as we checked later in the evening. Hi s call to our room asking if everything was o.k. Check out the next morning was also very accommodating and polite. Thank you staff for you welcoming manner...

Two star hotel should be a one star

This hotel needs some compitent maintenance staff. The bathroom fan was broken and noisy and through the walls you could hear that another room had the same problem. Air conditioner filled the room with dust when turned on. Taps were loose on kitchenette sink. Sheets were dirty on the main bed. Front counter staff was great but cleaning and maintenance needs supervision.

Close to grandchildren

Pros: Beds, pillows & breakfast, great service and friendly staff
Although this is an older establishment, it is very conveniently located for us. Like the sink outside the BR, practical. The beds and pillows were very comfy, I admit to being surprised!

Hotel is close to great shopping

Pros: could park close to my room. My room was around back of the hotel so it was very quiet
Cons: put a coating on the bottom of the bathtubs to prevent slipping.
Location: Lougheed Mall, Ikea, Toys R Us, Home Outfitters etc.
When I went for breakfast after my first night, the restaurant was closed because the waitress got sick! I couldn't use the coupon I had received for breakfasts at a good price. I was disappointed. The room was like all other hotel rooms, but it was close to where I parked. The bed was comfortable. The bathtub was slippery on the bottom when I took my shower.

Exterior not so nice

Cons: Needs to be renovated
Location: Location was good for our purpose.
Staff always friendly, the rooms clean but need upgrading, the room smelt musty, the repairs from a previous water leak had been done poorly. no elevator to second floor. Food was good, service good, reasonable prices. If your on a budget this is the place to stay.
