Nice place for the price

The room was clean and seemed updated. We had no issues with the TV, hot water or refrigerator as some of the other reviews mentioned. It's location was ideal for us to visit family in Port Coquitlam. Can't comment on the restaurant or pool as we didn't use either. I would definitely condider staying there again on our next visit

Get what you pay for!

Pros: Beds were comfortable
Cons: Take out renovated wording and not have the best pictures on the site because it is deceiving.
Location: Close to ikea which is nice!
It says it is renovated but I don't think that was the case. You could hear everything outside and if you wanted to muffle the sound with the heater it was an old one that was hard to regulate the temperature. The fan in the bathroom was just as bad!! Old fixtures..bathtub, sink, toilet paper holder had moisture rust spots in the bathroom and the toilet seat was painted to fix spots. Carpets were bumpy. The room wasn't that clean over all, especially the window and if it was it was old so looked dirty. I would say that yes you get what you pay for but also they shouldn't put renovated. The pictures on the website looked better than the actual hotel which is what I went by. The pool area was just ok but you had to go outside to get there and walk through a smoking area!

Budget hotel

Pros: location and room rate -lower than others
Cons: Restaurant hours - only 7 am to 2 pm now General facelift
Location: shopping mall and close to Skytrain transit
Friendly staff and great $4.99 breakfast! Bathroom in #308 needs some work. Beds OK. Quite quiet and convenient location

We got our very own indoor pool and hot tub!

When we were in Vancouver this past week, there was a lot of rain which hampered the sight seeing trips we wanted to do. Luckily, the indoor pool, hot tub and exercise room made up for the lost activities! Every morning, we would use the exercise room well stocked with two treadmills, a bowflex and exercise bikes. Every evening, we would swim in the big indoor pool and used the hot tub. We were always by ourselves! It is wonderful to be able to enjoy the great facilities undisturbed!

Cons: Remodel, old in need of repair.
Location: Near many local shopping centers, and Port Moody, our final goal.
Desk personnel/s very helpful in suggesting places near hotel.

Out-dated, smelly, but good location

Pros: The desk clerk was pleasant, welcoming and offered some take out menus and local sites to see. Location was good.
Cons: The rooms need a make over and deep cleaning.
Location: Good location. Plenty of restaurants close by. Right on major road.
The room stank! Smelled musty overall and the cupboard under the kitchenette sink smelled rancid. The carpet was dirty and wrinkled up, slipping when we walked on it. The in-room binder (hotel, TV, local restaurant information) was outdated and incorrect. To control the heat, we had to use the thermostat on the wall then set the fan speed on a unit across the room. The shelf in one of the bedrooms was so dusty and dirty that it would not wipe off. The bed linens had ink or oil stains but appeared to be laundered. Not enough lighting in the main room (a table lamp on one side of the room or the kitchenette light behind). The shower was clean but there was no point to setting a comfortable temperature because I would get blasted by scalding hot water then freezing cold water as (I assume) other units used their toilets and taps.

Needs serious cleaning,very musty and dusty.

Washrooms unclean and made beds had hair in them when uncovered to go to sleep for the night made for upset wife,lol.

Downgraded our room and never changed the amount

We had reserved our room on Expedia and told them that we had a pet. We had to pay for the room in advance, which we did. When we arrived at the hotel, they downgraded our room and didn't refund us the difference. Overall, the price I paid for the room was definitely not worth it. I will not be staying there again.
