It is unfortunate that even in reviewing our property the deception still exist. We did not rent the property to a Susan from New Orleans, rather, the property was booked by Lakeina Bonaby of Nassau, Bahamas for Two (2) persons.
Reservation was made on January 13th, 2020. We responded to Mrs. Bonaby on January 17th, 2020 at 6:13pm. Our response was read on January 18, 2020 at 10:10pm. We did not receive a message from Mrs. Bonaby.
The guest was checked in on February 28th, 2020, after 4pm by management, signifying that communication did take place, but more importantly, that property procedure information had been read and agreed to. Management was told that the booking was secure for the guest and her Husband. We were told, further, that said husband would arrive after 12am, and, as such, a couple friends will keep the guests company until husband would have arrived.
The friends did arrive after 8pm, after the guest would have left. We refused security clearance for the friends since we were not sure who they were and had not received any word from the guest as to their arrival without the guest being present.
On arrival, the guest entered the gates with two friends. Two cars were parked in the driveway. Before 9pm, the cars increased to five and twelve guests. We called the guest as a reminder, to explain again that the property was booked for two and is listed to accommodate a maximum of five persons. And, as described on the property page, we do not host events. While on the mobile phone talking to the guest, the security gate called requesting entrance for an additional two cars. We refused clearance, mentioned it to the guest and asked that the matter be addressed.
Much to our surprise, one of the cars that was already present, left, got the additional persons, half-an hour later, three persons, in attempt to hide from the cameras on the outside, entered the property from the car, fifteen minutes later, in a similar maneuver, another four persons entered the property. We were surprise at the obvious deception demonstrated by professional adults.
It is inexcusable and against human decency and respect for adults to behave in this manner. We, with the help of the police, rang the doorbell. The police explained that this is a private, gated community and gathering of this kind are a security risk. We asked Mrs. Bonaby, in the presents of the police, to have the other persons, by now, that have grown in excess of fourteen, to leave the townhouse and the premises. They refused to. A discussion ensued as to their rights. We waited until twelve in the morning for four persons to leave. There were ten other persons in the townhouse. We have started circulating this information to other properties in the surrounding area. Ensuring that property managers are aware of Mrs. Bonaby and her intentions.
Security cameras on the property are obvious and are there to protect the interest and security of our guests, our property and the surrounding community
