Close to Cumberland Falls State Park

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: It was clean, comfortable and very friendly.
Location: It was near the interstate and restaurants. We went to the State Park, but we also went to a flea market and an antique store.
This was the last leg of our vacation. We stopped here so we could go to the state park and to see KFC home. The bed was comfortable, the room was large ( I was really surprised at that). It was nice to have a home base for the time we were there.

Great hotel not far from Cumberland Falls

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, in door pool and hot tub.
Cons: Replace wall paper border that was pealing. Repair the hot tub jets.
Location: Cumberland Falls, KFC original restaurant, swinging bridges, a weeks worth of sight seeing.
We found this place by accident/Expedia as a last minute place to stay and was surprised by the cleanliness and staff. After searching for swinging bridges all day I forgot my computer bag laying by the car tire but a maintenance man found took it to the front desk. The desk clerk knew it was my case (no idea how) and found me in the pool to inform me of the find. The pool and hot tub were great after a long day of traveling, even if all the jets didn't work.

Our favorite hotel room and breakfast of the 6 different rooms where we stayed during our week long vacation. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Great stop to our destination

Room was very comfortable. Did not have microwave or refrigerator, but in actuality, did not need them. Wanted to take a relaxing bath, but stopper in tub did not stay closed. Beds were very comfortable. Personnel were friendly and helpful.

Clean, comfortable, hot tub, too.

Located right of I-75, restaurants nearby, clean rooms/lobby/breakfast area. Comfortable beds, hot shower, nice pool area with "scorching hot" hot tub. Breakfast includes waffles, sausage or bacon and eggs, biscuits/gravy, breads, cereals and yogurt. Safe area. Hotel decor is dated (except the bedding), but we weren't there for the decorations.

nice hotel, clean, friendly staff

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly, very nice people.
Cons: Bed was lumpy, change the mattresses. Fitness center could be upgraded.
Location: Easy to find the Baymont Inn, right off the I75, exit 38. Cracker Barrel and Sonney's Restaurants are near by. Did not explore the area much.
Arrived during severe thunder storm and tornado warning. Hotel staff was calm and optimistic that the tornado would not hit us. Free breakfast was alright, typical cereal, milk, waffles, donuts. Fitness center was ok, treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike. Laundry facility had only one washer and one dryer, but clean. Close to Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Sonney's Restaurant. Hotel was easy to find, right off of the I75, exit 38.

Meh...

I wasn't hoping for much with our stay but this was still pretty disappointing. The room was old and kinda gross. The bathroom was small and cold. The breakfast area near the lobby was small and extremely over crowded. The staff were barely able to do the basics of their job and they we're very friendly in the process. All in all, I won't be looking for another Baymont Inn in the future.

Pros: Good pillows. Pretty clean.
Cons: Coffee maker in room had no canister to put coffee in to make. Asked clerk at front desk and they could not find one or get us another coffee maker.
OK. Pricey for amenities. Clean though. Coffee maker in room did not work because missing canister and the front desk could not help us or provide us with a new coffee maker. Pool was ok and hot tub could have been a little hotter.

Thank you for your comments. The coffee makers do not have canisters, it is a 1 cup coffee maker. The filter and coffee is in one pack and your coffee goes straight into your cup. We have an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and a deluxe continental breakfast. We feel our rates are comparable to other area hotels. We appreciate you staying with us.
