“Family trip staying overnight months ago-3 of us /of 15 Family members visiting Cumberland Falls,”
10 adults 6 very well behaved Children(12mo~ 16ys) attempted to check in to our 3 reserved doublerooms,Spending 1 night only!We were greeted at the desk with a very Nasty Manager/Owner who obviously had the staff intimidated so much the young man checking us in could hardly complete his task for her criticism and hovering!She began hounding us about the # of guest per room,she spoke with a thick foreign accent that hardly anyone could understand.She went on,according to the policy,state law limits only 6 per room for lodging which with three rooms that would be 18 guest total.so where was the problem?Monitoring our every move while we tried to consume our Breakfast the next morning;she Accused us of pouring extra waffle batter in the sink?Paced and watched us.I can assure you that our group was considerate enough of the other guest and staff that we came down in shifts to insure there would be no overcrowding or chaos,again adults out numbering the children to insure a quiet meal!Rowdiness or Inconsideration could have never been the issue!I asked her if she treated all her guest with such rudeness, she shook her head & finally left the dining area, only to supervise the cleaning staff who began knocking on the 2nd floor doors @9:30am!she questioned them about our check out plans and told them the cleaning staff needed to go ahead and get in the rooms,yet checkout was 11am!I assure you and anyone else We would never recommend them!!!
