“Great location to tour Cordoba on foot, close to Le Mezquita, too!”

This is a fantastic location to tour Cordoba. Literally across the street form the Roman gate that opens into the Juderia area and all of the historical sites to see are within walking distance. The decor is very chic modern and a nice contrast to the historical sites you'll be surrounded by all day. I loved the unique design of our room and the bath/shower area. The AC chain does a great job of designing each hotel to be unique in design to each location. I've stayed in their Barcelona location off Claris and the AC Ciudad deSevilla location which occupied a large historical home near the Maria Luisa park.

Area recommendations

The Mezquita/Cathedral is an awesome experience. Visually stunning inside and an interestingly beautiful exterior, too. The Alcazar is a must see and the neighborhood streets in this area. El Churrasco offered the best food to our delight. We visited 10/24-27/11 the weather was 66-75* with evening rain but, partially sunny days. The week before was 78-83*. Wear comfortable shoes due to cobbled streets everywhere.

“good hotel location”

the location of this hotel was very good, across the street from old town and a few blocks more from city center. so if you like quite and a small walk to all the action it is fantastic in location. The room was clean and new, but the widows were very odd because they had this grate across them so you could not see out that well, it was done for a very modern look but it just does not work because I would like to look outside a window without obstructions. The hotel was very clean and free mini bar and roof top pool a big plus. But unless you stumble across this information you would not know these services exist. Which gets me to the worst part and this may not be important to you, however for me being a foreigner, I would have liked better customer service. The staff were as cold as ice cubes, were not helpful, not friendly, and spoke very little if any English at all. The bell boy was nice however. So all and all, good but I would not go back.

“Clean, comfy and in a great location”

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for two nights in October 2011 to visit the sites in Cordoba (the Mezquita, etc.) The hotel is very modern, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it's in a great location. It's just across the street from the gate to the old city, and also less a five minute cab ride from the RENFE train station. The hotel has a breakfast buffet, which we found to be pretty good (toast, pastries, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, cereal, scrambled eggs, yogurt, coffee/tea/juice/bottled water etc.) and very convenient. However, it would have been very expensive had it not been included in our booking rate (something like 16 or 18 euro per person), so you may want to consider booking a room with breakfast included, because I'm fairly certain that we got a better deal this way.

Area recommendations

Don't miss the Mezquita, and take the time to find the Blossom street for a great picture of the tower!

“Excellent location”

Brand new hotel near the Juderia. Breakfast buffet, included in price, was excellent. Wifi in lobby. The exterior is a little off-putting - strangely modern rusted metal clad exterior - but the interior is quite spectacular as are the rooms.

“Great stay”

We were very happy with this hotel choice. As first time visitors to Cordoba, we liked being within a short walking distance to the historic area yet having all the conveniences of a modern hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. At the end of a hot summer day of sightseeing, we really enjoyed swimming and relaxing at the lovely rooftop pool. It was great to have free use of the computers in the lobby. Good food at the breakfast buffet, but we thought it was way over-priced. We found a great Turkish restaurant in the neighborhood, and nice places to walk and jog.

“Great hotel”

The hotel was clean and modern, right outside La Mezquita and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The bathroom was absolutely fantastic, with a jacuzzi tub and double showers!! Very nice.

“Excellent design”

Our room at the AC Cordoba Palacio was the most efficiently designed for comfort of any we have stayed in. Since we are sensitive to interior design and like contemporary furnishings, staying in this hotel room turned out to be one of the high points of our trip. The color scheme was a soothing dark gray. Everything was just where one would want it to be, with no fuss. This is a new hotel, located on a main avenue just outside the medieval walls, a few minutes walk from the principle tourist sites of Cordoba and about 15 minutes walk from the center of town. Breakfast was pleasant. Our only disappointment was that the staff at the reception desk was less helpful and forthcoming than we would have liked. The hotel looks like an undistinguished rusted steel box from the outside, but inside it's design was exceedingly pleasant. We thought we got very good value for the price. There was free parking right in front of the hotel.

“Wow!!! great place”

Had a great experience. Rooms were large, modern and extremely nice staff. Recommended great local restaurants, and was close to the older part of the city. Would definitely stay again.
