Beautiful, perfectly located hotelPosted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: The staff were attentive and helpful; the ambience was lovely; the attention to detail was very good. Stunning building and location
Location: Within a minute or two of the Mezquita and much of the historic centre of Cordoba, plus easy walking distance of the rest of it - the Alcazar etc.
This was an ideal combination of the aesthetic and the practical. The hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the historic centre of Cordoba and beautifully executed in its own right. We felt very well catered for and looked after.

Charming HotelPosted Oct 2, 2014
The hotel and it's staff are fantastic. You can tell the decor in the rooms and the common area has been done by a professional that knows what they are doing. This makes the visit feel that much better. The dining experience is what you do not want to miss. Two nights a week they have a flamingo guitar player in the downstairs courtyard play during dinner. They have a terrace you can eat dinner at that has great views including the Cathedral. You need to book it ahead as there are only about 4 tables at the terrace. Best place we stayed in the month we were in Spain.

Excellent!Posted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The warm welcome at the check-in, relaxing ambiance, beautiful room, amazing view, friendly, helpful staff and attention to details made the stay unforgettable. This time it was a short stay, but I would certainly go back for a longer stay.

One of Best hotels I have stayed in!Posted Aug 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
This may seem a bit of an exaggerated statement, but when your work involves staying at over 40 hotels in a year during business travels, then you will understand why. This is a gem of a hotel. Small, very friendly and a layout and style to be envied by other hotels. Set in a former monastery, it has been beautifully converted with modernity that sits so well into the historic aspect of the building and the surroundings. I recommend the roof top terrace during the evenings, book a meal up there and then spend the late hours gazing over the cathedral, towers and small streets that makes up the heart of Cordoba. The food is excellent and it is well worth the experience staying - even for one night!

One of our all-time favoritesPosted Aug 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything about this hotel is fantastic. Staff, location, attention to detail...you name it, and Balcon de Cordoba does it right. A small boutique hotel that would be worth a visit even if it were not located in a culture-rich place like Cordoba. Be sure to have dinner (or at least drinks) on the intimate roof deck. The view is memorable.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel in historical centerPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Service, room, food and views.
Location: Great location only 50 meters from the mesquita/cathedral, and in the historical center. 2 blocks from Alcazar.
Balcon de Cordoba passed our expectations, which are high, in every sense. The staff is kind and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and had many extra conforts. The breakfast was wonderful, even had champagne! The view from the rooftop terrace is incredible. I plan on always staying at Balcon de Cordoba Hotel on my visits to Cordoba.

Attractive and well placedPosted Jun 25, 2014
Very stylish and in an excellent location for visiting the key sites. We had a few issues with the restaurant not being up to scratch for dinner, as did another diner at the next table. However this was a Monday evening when the main chef was apparently away. When we fedback this info, the hotel confirmed that they were aware of this problem and working to improve the situation. They also refunded the cost of our meal. We would still highly recommend this hotel, just be wary of Monday evening dining at the moment!

A Quiet Oasis Close in an Ideal LocationPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Attentive staff, large rooms, great location!
Cons: Everything was perfect here!
Location: We recommend the Taberna de Montillana for the chuleton! The Leyla room was large enough to accomodate two adults with a lot of suitcases.
We spent two nights at this hotel in the Leyla room in early June. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning kept us very happy, along with the convenient location to the Mezquita and local restaurants in the historic center of Cordoba. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we could return here if we visit Cordoba again.
